Forest conf call



















Very odd there are two times which would make me think they are firing half of us but it is a Thursday and at lunch where they know we will be in an office so I wouldn't think they fire us. Roll over some of us maybe? Give us a new product to pick up the slack for forest launching the new products?
 










































11:30 people got rolled into Forest and 11:45 is employed till the end of march. Seems they picked people based on who they liked because some of our top performers were on the 11:45 which seems odd but who knows.
 






same thing in my district... the reps my manager liked rolled over and the reps he didnt were cut... numbers/rank meant nothing. I hope that pregnant rep on the call who never met her manager gets a lawyer, sounds like she has a pretty decent case of discrimination based on the fact that she was preparing for maternity leave. It was great to hear that fat loser TF scramble when she asked that question.

She was "preparing for maternity leave". Not trying to be a jerk, but there is no "phase in" for maternity leave. Either you are on or off. Sounds like someone who is full of BS and just wants a lazy payday. Bet she voted for Obama too.
 






So the DMs seem to be saying that if we 'work hard' we still have a chance at getting hired at the end of march. I personally don't see it because numbers are already good (yes, they can always be better but) and I think it is a popularity contest. Part of me wants to try and get hired to prove I can but part of me thinks I'm stupid for even trying.

I feel as though the decision has already been made... I cant imagine whatever happens over the next six weeks really matters. It was about who would kiss the managers ass from day 1, nothing about the numbers or performance. The funny thing is I bet half the managers dont roll over, Forest will promote RSTs and other qualified people before bringing the bunch of goons hired to be inVentiv DMs.

I heard that pregnant woman on the call too and I am POSITIVE she has a nice lawsuit on her hands. No performance reviews/evals/and never met her new manager. Honestly if thats not discrimination what the fuck is
 






Did the person (trust me the court won't care if she is prego. She got herself that way and was not on leave.) ever request feedback or a field ride? Can it be proven she did? How long was she employed?

Just recently, it was decided they did not have to defend themselves in a class action suit. Say what you want. Crying because you got pregnant, didn't have a field ride and simply did not get your contract to work in your favor ain't gonna fly.

While I heard the pregnant question, my mind was else where. I think she is on the same team I am and if I'm correct, our boss quit in Dec and the closest region's boss took over. He has been great but I don't think anyone has had a field ride since dec because he is busy with two teams.

It is all the forest counterparts and managers that made the decision, not your new VB writers, calls per day, A target percentages, etc but we all knew that going into Forest; your DM (even if it isn't your inVentiv DM) makes or breaks you.

Correct me if I'm wrong but at one point, I asked about interviewing to roll into forest and why they did the whole interview process if we were already in the field. I didn't care, I was just curious and was told it was because of legality issues and that forest couldn't just randomly pick and choose people w/o an interview. This was a someone high up guy that told me but it appears they did this, seems kind of odd. One girl just came out of training and rolled, one person was killing VB on our team and didn't roll, and the pregnant girl didn't roll. I think the top two VB people did not roll which clearly shows they just picked on the popularity contest aka no interview but don't seem to care about the legality of it. Then again, maybe they will have little interviews as a formality.

Blessing in disguise I suppose, 3 plus forest reps in an office per week makes you feel pretty useless anyway but at least it was income.
 






So what do you think about pay, vacation, cars, etc.? My boss hinted that Forest may cut our pay on the roll-over..!? Surely they wouldn't do that to us. I have 3 weeks' vacation from Ventiv; hope Forest rolls that over...thoughts?
