Forecasting the END

Anyone have a theory when the end will happen? Will we make it through the end of 2014? Will we make it to the summer? The only thing that gives me hope is that some really bad home office people will be gone too, but for the people who worked hard to make the company as a whole successful...I feel for you. That and the fact that I have solid numbers to show for my time here and a solid resume which I have already started giving out.

Really depends on the success of Mirvaso i think. If it turns out to be true that it is causing about a 75% rebound rate and we dont get our refills then i think we'll go under by the end of the year.

Things have been really positive regarding Mirvaso in my area. I think that derms AND patients are learning how to use the drug for the most benefits. There is definitely a learning curve.

Message To Long Time Managers

Change is coming sooner than you fucking think!
Galderma still has some older employees who are stuck in their ways. They inhibit the eager creativity, innovation, excellence and growth of younger employees.

Advice to Senior Management – Get to know your young talent and young rising stars pull there resumes & education from HR. Let your employees think for themselves, express their ideas in a positive, welcoming environment, and give concern to their personal lives before these fucking idiots run what's left of a great company in the ground.
 




Well thanks younger creative talented person. First, you fit right in with the direction of the company. No appreciation for the people that grew the company from a small Derm company to over a billion just in the US. Also, thanks for adding fuel to a potential age and wrongful termination lawsuit that should be coming down on this company some day. Ironically, the HR department here and over the pond and some of the Management would agree with you. You guys work cheaper and since the company is simply a branded generic company anyway we may as well have the lowest cost labor pool possible.

Bottom line, all the creativity and talent in the world will not make up for the fact that there is no innovation from a product standpoint now or in the pipeline and Managed Care simply looks at these products as commodities and over priced ones at that. But keep telling yourself how educated, talented and creative you are and keep selling products like Mirvaso off label to your derms. I am sure the DOJ would love to peal back the covers on this company and look at their unethical promotional and labor practices. Thanks for your creative and talented insight to solving the problems that have been brewing here for years.

While you guys were growing the company who was forecasting this "Holly Fuckup" that almost ran us out of business.
 








Wake up it is our little Brazilian Friend who would consistently ignore forecasts and market trends and just dictate numbers - by the way still going on as we speak. So don't disparage the sales people who came up from the ranks and spent in some cases 20+ years growing this thing and then some of them where left holding the bag and got the boot for what is admittedly now a complete cluster F.

Also, the Forecasts to be fare are set on certain profit goals that if you clowns cannot or will not hit them I can guarantee this place will be sold out. So if you are so smart and talented why not take your resume and go somewhere that appreciates young smart talented people like yourself?

Totally agree with the above post. Forecasts ? Really. Look more objectively at our pricing, product access and clinical story. We have done an outstanding job selling very high priced branded generics in a very tough managed care market place and these " these talented goofs" want to blame it on simply too high of a forecast. What? I guess that guy is not that smart and obviously not so talented if all one has to do is lower a forecast so he can hit his bonus. How the hell does that solve the lack of pipeline, lack of innovation and lack of hitting profit targets?

Yes, the leadership does suck but our Nestle friends need to actually get something out of what was pumped into R and D the last 20 years. Then profit and price, coverage etc. will take care of itself if someday we actually had innovative products.

Maybe we can get some of these guys clown cars as their next company vehicle - it seems more appropriate for some of these guys.

In 5- 10 years many of us old guys will be sitting on a beach with multi- million dollar stock portfolios. You my friend will be either selling Cetaphil Diaper wipes for Nestle or re- doing your resume hoping to sell a bunch of old derm products for company's like Valiant. So take your cocky attitude and your scary talented resume and stick them where the sun don't shine. Maybe you can re forecast everything and make it all better?
