ONLY if the old guard is obliterated. Read the posts, especially related to culture. You will see who has created needless damage to others and to the business. They never understood how a culture of expediency does damage to others. Those individuals are not strategic, but see people in narrow terms, as means to an end. If they are around, steer clear and do not leave a good job that you enjoy being part of. IF current leaders are gone, and IF it is clear FS has the ability to create the culture that leads others to growth success in all the ways that matter to people who are motivated and conscientous, then give it a shot. This post is total BS. Phadia has not been acquired yet so the openings in the field are not from FS. Liar.

BTW, M. Myslinski, former president of Pharmacia Diagnostics, has been gone from Fisher for at least 10 years so he is a non-issue in this acquisition by FS. Fisher will wonder why they ever decided to acquire Phadia . . . . . . . . . extremely dumb move on FS's part!

You need to do some research. Read the culture tab. If you think culture is important, there is crucial info in there. If you don't, why would you bother to aquire the co? Do take immediate public credit for change, it will help this company. But have the courage to change.

If they can clean house, look at costs (excessive travel, esp MD) build culture, they can recover what might have been. Co has a bad rap in the world they say they dominate for the old school pharma bling style
