This is even more serious than a layoff.

I just bought a new vibrator. It is huge and BLACK and slips in/out if well lubricated. The problem is that just as I am about to come the battery gives out. Can anybody from senior management problem solve this for me. What shall I do?
 
















The people posting on this board are unbelievable! I have a relative who works for AZ. I work in brand marketing for a multinational cpg company and, I have to say, the level of immaturity and outright rudeness by the vast majority of the people posting makes me seriously question their professionalism. What kind of people post ridiculous rumors, over and over again, meant only to scare people about their job security? What kind of people use foul language in forums that are meant for professionals? I can see that AZ does indeed have a problem on their hands with the people they have working for them if most of the posters on this board are representative of the sales force. Perhaps if those of you to whom I'm referring spent only a fraction of the time you spend on this board working on self-improvement, you'd find yourself with a better lot in life.

From an armchair observing AZ that is easy to say. If you were here you would understand that a once good culture began to deteriorate about 2000 to the present day. Whatever professionalism that once existed has been replaced with politics, box checking, and trying not to raise any red flags. Downsizing has been related for the near future with no clear dates. Frustration levels are at an all time high. Add to that a number of people on plans, pips, pushed out the door, or fearful that they may be, and there is a lot of anger and angst in a me-against-you atmosphere. Still, most rank and file are good people.

Do agree that rumors help nothing, but unfortunately there are those who want to discredit and create more confusion. It also sucks in many who really want to know what is happening.
 




Seriously, I can't understand why you guys are in such a hurry to get bad news! Knowing a month sooner will have no effect on your or your "plans" whatsoever. If you don't have a Plan B by now, you're screwed. 99% of us have been sitting on our collective asses thinking this crap happens to the other guy, but many of us WILL BE that other guy in a matter of weeks! Not only that, every damn one of us knows that this will be the first of many layoffs to come. Oh yeah, they will tell us we "are the right size", just like LP did years ago BEFORE a layoff happened, and many of you will believe them. That's the amazing part!

Face it and except it, there is NO future here or in pharma. The contract sales force is here to stay, and one day they will realize that it was a huge mistake. Just look no further than Nexium to see what can happen to a drug with a CSO involved.

As has been said here many, many times, we must pay for THEIR mistakes. That's the sad part.
