Robert Radie has resigned as president and CEO of Zyla Life Sciences, a Wayne-based pharmaceutical company that previously operated as Egalet and is focused on pain relief products.

In a statement Zyla (OTCQX: ZCOR) said Radie, who is also stepping down as a member of the company's board of directors, is departing to "pursue other opportunities."

...not sure who would hire this failed turd. He's tanked two companies in quick succession, Egalet and Zyla.

He did OK out of it. Cheated gullible investors out of their money and got $1 million a year for doing it. I'm still scratching head about how he trashed a company with a product to deter opioid abuse in the middle of an opioid epidemic. It's like not being able to give water away in a drought. Wonder where he'll end up?

I left this dumpster fire a couple of years back, but like a road accident can't help looking at these boards once in a while.

Who is this Todd guy? Never heard of him.

I was surprised that Radie lasted so long, especially after the NASDAQ delisting. Just check out the boards here, we all knew he was an incompetent disaster years ago.

I think that we need a good restructuring. Radie and his mismanagement team of incompetents never led us, they were too preoccupied lining their own pockets. I have full faith in Todd Smith. At least we'll be starting with a seasoned and successful leader. He did a great job with Iroko. While it may be painful during a restructuring, for the medium and long term it will be cool. Hopefully he'll start by cutting out all of the dead wood that came across from the Egalet failure. Then we have the basis for a great specialty business based on proven pharmaceuticals! I'm pumped!

How can you say Todd did a good job at Iroko? The company was about to close before we bought them. They only had 18 reps. Todd’s answer to everything is to raise the prices on the product and cut the number of reps. He hasn’t been successful anywhere

In business, not recruiting. Very much a bottom of the barrel company selling ancient, generic, poorly branded pain relief.

Probably will downsize in the near future - especially any ex Egalet people.

well since you asked, I’m trying to figure out if I join is it a company that’s growing and trying to guess on what’s the chances myself and other reps have to be promoted down the road?

Thanks for your help.
