Its also the timing when these gifted accounts happened. At the beginning of this year, we all had most of our supporting accounts. What was left were the difficult accounts. So when these gifted accounts were given, it was perfect timing for those reps b/c they had fresh new business to work and absorb free vials in already producing accounts. They still have not had to work the tough accounts. Not to mention, they fast tracked to the bonus pay outs and got an extra $15,000 on top of their would be pay out. Good for our colleagues. We support them. Bad for us who get screwed. Any of us would take the accounts and be happy, but the majority have been hurt and completely forgotten.

We need to create our own list of what territories were dissolved and who is benefitting. Heck, let's make our own fair presidents club trip. Where should we go? Group 7 day cruise?????

Many were scared to say anything to HR. I hope your comments are truly taken and they make changes. At this point, it is very unfair and shouldnt be up to the rep to say it. They already know it is unfair. If nothing else, they need to reevaluate these territories based on potential etc. How can some of these territories compete with people that acquired several extra hospitals or territories like Manhatten or UPMC with massive amounts of patients. Nothing against any of these reps, but it is very difficult to be compared to that.

If you just get the product stocked into the carts, then you can compete with these guys. LMAO!

Wow, I am not the original poster but I have to agree that you really are stupid. Rankings are so important this day in age. Is it the end-all? No, but it is very important. I just got home from the meeting tonight and it made me sick how certain reps were given so much praise and many were the ones that received extra accounts. Your resume is the first thing an employer sees and they want to see top performance. At the very least, they want to see the candidate in the top 20%. You sound very new to the industry and quite stupid I am afraid.

Successful representatives always post their rankings on their resumes for every year. If they don't, ultimately the employer will ask for that information. Im not sure how someone could post the above message as it is very very ignorant. I also am very upset how Cadence has handled the rank report this year. It is so corrupt and they know it, but choose to keep silent about it. You are not only wrong, but you seem to be overly defending the current ranking report as it stands. This leads me to believe that you yourself have been the recipient of extra hospitals and know you have a very distinct, unfair advantage over other hard working reps. I feel sorry for you that you would defend this and your comments are both ignorant and very childish. Ranking reports outside of performance reviews are literally the only documented evidence an employer would have regarding sales performance. They are extremely important.

You are 100% correct. Many of us discussed this after they left. They are employees of Cadence and as you stated only want to protect the company's interests and their jobs. That whole session was a complete waste of time as no smart person is going to openly discuss their valid issues. The company knew they had to finally address the evaluations and the results were a big fat lie. Most people stayed quiet. I feel the 5 scale rating results were manipulated by HR. There is no way that the average was above 4. Most people I know gave 2 and 3 ratings. It is very fishy.
