Field Reimbursement position

I cannot wait until the start of the Synagis season. You new hires haven't a CLUE! The beginning of the season is NEVER clinical and all logistical and managed care crap. We will sit back and watch you put in your 60 to 80 andwe will run around with our detail aids now. This is a luxury we have NEVER had before....welcome aboard. You are responsible for the managed care stuff now, have at it! It is going to be fun to watch. Go ahead, post again and again about how great you are. You will be so beat down you will not know what hit you. Lupus drug is two years away? Synagis is here now. It is a managed care NIGHTMARE.....and you will not know what I mean until you do it, so don't act like you will. I can write a novel on all of the stuff and it is never predictable. If you want to be arrogant and act like you know, that is ok. Those who laugh last laughs the loudest. Except, this is at the expense of our company!

The hippa issue is true but just wait for the problems!!!! The problems that happen every year. Yes, this distributor has hired a bunch on temps and none of them have a clue what synagis is! The offices have not heard about the status of half or their babies and they cannot get answers. The coordinators are going crazy. I guess they will not call the BSS or even Ghost busters.....FRM.

top notch sales force...you betcha! selling synagis is the only thing more difficult than selling ice cold water to a millionaire in the middle of the desert. get over yourself. A preemie has RSV = they get synagis, thanks to the MCAM's doing the legwork on the front end for coverage policies. Nice job bud, you're really turning the tide. ahahahahaaaaa

Uh, no! If a preemie is at "risk" of RSV or if the get RSV, they do not necessarily get Synagis. But the offices think they should because the sales team has definitely sold the office, everyone in the office!!!! Now it will be up to you to get the drug! hehe! It is an easy sell and a managed care nightmare. The better we do our job, the more work you will have. I hope that you can get em all approved!

This company is AstraZeneca...get used to it! Genentech people will do a fine job until they realize it is much more complicated than DNA. Scott Carmer and the AZ mgmt will drive this company and personnel into the GROUND!

IF MCAMS are selling Synagis to TREAT RSV no wonder they can't get in front of anyone. Somebody needs to look at that PI again because they look mighty stupid here.

you too have no clue...MCAMS aren't selling the stuff, we're clearing the way via policy influence with Medicaid and the commercial insurers. Are you another one of the BSS who thinks they do EVERYTHING? Sick of the attitude of our BSS who think they are holier than thou. Clinical sale for you yes, but you'd be dead in the water if I didn't do my job with the coverage policy. Teamwork dude.

WHy yes all that teamwork led to stellar adoption of the 2009 Red Book in record time! Thanks MCAM's you all are a great team

more sour grapes from BSS who THINK they can do the job of an MCAM and/or the job of an FRM, but in fact the company knows you can't do either...that's why they hired me from the outside and you still pick up those donuts and coffee, caterer.

I don't know any BSS's who are caterer's. We have occasional lunches with the whole office...a must with FluMist and to make sure all the personnel are accountable for Syn. BSS's are NOT caterer's! Clearly someone from the outside.

Listen outside clueless noob, we are not allowed to do those things here only a legit lunch or dinner program. As for MCAM everyone at this company knows that is the only job that as long as the AAP Red Book keeps making their recommendations they have every excuse to fail.

Offer came today! Who cares if that dude knows about synagis and RSV, it's a mature product...it was pretty clear during the interview process that this team is gearing up to launch the lupus therapy in 2 years...totally different market and your BSS experience in pediatrics and MediCAID, along with a quarter, will get you a cup of coffee. Me? I'll be enjoying my coffee and time at the gym because the BSS can handle the synagis stuff on top of picking up for the CMMs.

How many NEW prescribers (never used the product before) do you get each season for synagis?

Have the admin codes, ICD-9, NDC and J code changed?

Do the policies change that much from season to season?

AAP still f*cking you guys?

Right, save it fancy boy...reimbursement issues with synagis are minor. I'm gearing up for the lupus battle.

Now eat your brussel sprouts and go sell FluMist...

I hope that you were unemployed and did not give up a paying job to take this FRM role.....gearing up for the lupus battle????.......our research department doesn't have a good track record on bringing drugs to market.....i.e. motavizumab, and others that never got out of stage 2 trials.....we'll see if this one makes it.

My offer came today as well. It was very apparent during the interviews that management is not impressed with the "talent pool" within the sales organization.

Posters 38 & 39,
How long did your FRM interview process take, and when did you start it?
I submitted my resume and references information through a MedIm-supplied link a few days ago, after my initial phone screen.
