Female VP's Exit in Mass Numbers

Amanda M is a VP of bioscience/gammagard and never won anything as a rep or in the 1 1/2 years she was a manager. no balls=promotion to VP

I admit I don't know some of these ladies listed but I do know Meg. She seems confident and professional. As far as the Amanda - not every great sales rep makes a great leader and not every great leader was a great rep. So try to look at whole picture regardless of trips and awards. Best leader I have ever known, never won a single award as a sales rep but as my leader and as a TEAM, we won tons! I just wish he were still around so I could bring him to Baxter.

AM cares about her people. She knows the business and she's not afraid to tell people when they are wrong, in Deerfield or not. Calling her out for not winning anything is just stupid.

Here's and observations that Senior Leadeship has ignored, the East RMs doing whatever they can to get away from Dave Clark. I count four out of eight RMs have left or moved to other positions in Baxter in 2014. A fifth RM was fired, he was Clark's brilliant Tampa hire, he lasted 90 days.

The new RM hired in Tampa is a woman and she doesn't know shit....

Look around, all minorities leave Baxter, not just women. If you can penetrate the boys circle you can work your way up, if they like you, if not you are out of luck and won't get further than being a sales rep. The only minorities that i get promoted to sales management are women and that rarely happens. Diversity is a complete joke with this company! That term cannot be taken seriously.

Agree. Dr. JM won't retire as long as Bob is around, though. Why would she when she is making over $2M/year? She will ride it out as long as possible. She is pretty much the COO.

Jeanne Mason is a great CHRO for Baxter, she's done nothing, gets paid a pile of money and does absolutely nothing for women and people of color. Can't wait to see what happens after the split.
