FDE Offers this Week?

I did make it to the RD yesterday, and after the interview (which went great) he told me to not "worry if you don't hear from us for a while, while we do the background checks..." so thanks to all regarding the delays; now I know that it is a waiting game. I was assured at both interviews that the Lilly agreement would have no negative effect on this hiring, and that, in fact, it boosts it, so hopefully no worries there.
To the poster who inquired about the differences between linnagliptin and the other two: BI's is not excreted through the kidneys like the others, so so need for dosage adjustments in renally impaired pts. There is more online, but start there....you need to do your homework for these interviews if you want the job....

I'm thinking about leaving my low paid permanent pharma job for a much higher pay contract job with bi. Mistake or no mistake?

Firstly, I'm SHOCKED if BI would offer you more than any permanent pharma - they've been righteously screwing most FDEs on salary. Secondly, I would NOT leave a sure thing for a contract. Unless you feel you are about to be fired for cause imminently, preventing you from collecting unemployement, do not take this gig. If you get laid off from you current job, you've got lots of unemployement you can collect while you look for a PERMANENT GIG.

My two cents.
