Eylea....

What a total waste of time in Nashville. PW is degrading and demeaning and creates the worst culture in Regeneron (and possibly the industry). Everyone is scared of her, me too! She leads with fear and attacks! Her tone makes me cringe! Was Greg hired to replace PW or DW? Heard he was a disaster at Novartis. How many sessions were repetitive AND ran over the scheduled time? What’s up with the new Texas Mgr? Don’t know her but she’s a total kiss ass and needs to earn her stripes before chiming in! Just my thoughts...agree or disagree?

Who is PW?

Judgement cometh - Massive fines and jail time on the horizon. No company more deserving.

The U.S. district attorney for Massachusetts filed suit against the drugmaker this week, alleging that it paid tens of millions in kickbacks through a copay foundation for Eylea, a drug used to treat macular degeneration.

Take your best shot d-bag

Here is my best shot... The problem, as I see it, is the pervasive off-label use of Avastin to treat AMD. These illegal acts discourage companies like Regeneron from discovering new innovative therapies. Discovering new medicines involves taking on significant financial risks. When a company does discover a new innovative medicine to treat a disease, they deserve to be financially rewarded for it. Lastly, a company can buy a politician, but a company can't pay for a patient's copay? One can act as the CEO for a big bank then become Secretary of the Treasury and not be required to pay taxes after selling all their interests in the company, but a company can't pay for a patient's copay? You no longer have a democracy when lawmakers live by a different set of laws other than the laws they create. How was that?

As the current laws read, Len and George better stock up on some astroglide.

Inducement leading to Medicare claims is FRAUD. The bureaucrats are looking to make an example of someone and since wet AMD is a disease of the Medicare population this is the ideal case.

Apparently prescribing a drug off-label is legal. One in five prescriptions written are done so off-label. Prescribing Avastin off-label for AMD hurts innovation in my personal opinion.

Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch of swine.

You seem jealous or disgruntled. You were quick to criticize, but you failed to address the risk/reward aspect of developing new medicines. Where is the incentive to take a huge financial risk and develop new and better medicines if they are going to be knocked off and favored with the help of a government agency? Furthermore, look at what happened to Beovu and Abicipar. A 3% difference in inflammation and a lot of money wasted. Does the entire world revolve around what is best for you or what is cheapest for medicare?

When I first read CATT, I thought to myself, "this is going to help a lot of people who do not have insurance." Instead, CATT is used to push the off-label use of a drug and undermine research and advancement. How do you think Genentech thought about CATT? I asked that knowing the story behind how Anti-VEGF use came into existence to treat wAMD.

In the new Age of Code, you went wire to wire:

Zooming in on the horse's eye was a nice touch. The model in a black dress, a horse in an urban setting, and both of them riding into the sunset really made me laugh. Very original! I am left wondering... I wonder where they are going? Where did they come from? I can appreciate any horse that does not need blinders. Well done!

And now George has really pissed off the woke crowd with his commencement address. Almost made me have respect for him..., almost.

Yes! She is so badass that she has been at Regeneron for a year, hasn't been in the field one day, hasn't met any customers....AND now she resigns to go sell some nasal spray! Great hire PW!!

Holy crap, seriously?? PW or MM made a big deal of said manager’s lakefront home on a recent call. Well done. She go to Oyster Point for their dry eye drug?
