Eyevance

Not good. Unrealistic goals that apparently were set due to medical liason reconnaissance with Docs that thought their Rock inhibitor would be a huge success. Wrong! People are leaving in droves with the first opportunity for something more realistic.

That sucks.

There are a lot of companies hiring now. Hope you land someplace good.

I was told salary range was $70-85K, with car. Territories are huge. Not practical for growing business at all. Will struggle with managed care situation. 3 drugs: Zerviate for ocular itching due to allergic conjunctivitis, Nexagon for PED and Freshkote drops for the eyes. All me too's with little differentiation over industry leaders. Run by former Sun people and management positions by fresh out of college greenhorns. I give it a year and it implodes.

You should probably stay at Aerie, shit drug and shittier reps, that's a good combination

I don't understand why there are so many start ups trying to re-launch old drugs? Seems like a risky investment to hire reps, train them, samples, sales materials, expenses, etc and try to milk sales out these "mature" products. If that's the actual base salary range, I assume that they are looking to hire newbs from copier sales backgrounds and Enterprise. Anyone interview there that has any insight? That's all we need is more newbie reps in the offices.

IDK....I could be wrong. Good luck.

A better question is: What experienced ophthalmic rep will work for a start up with "me too" drugs for a $70-85K base? Shitty ones!

Novabay throwing big base salary at me . They hard up ? Orcthey Turn the corner after new ceo in place and losing people to sun dry eye launch ? Worth jumping ? I’m big Optha pharma now

Any idea how much they paid for Freshkote?
