Watching these morons on our National Call. Sam is so out of touch and all he does is surround himself with his cronies. He has to go. We need to get rid of this management team and pump in some fresh ideas. They have had their shot with Xiidra and have screwed it up. Terrible mismanagement of every resource, including us sales people. Clueless of what the market environment is and what is needed to be successful. Absolutely nothing new. No managed care wins. If you gave this product to Alcon, Allergan, anyone else, it'd be a blockbuster!

he will tell anyone who listens that he’s untouchable. Based on how crap his performance has been, he should have be gone long ago. Yet he stays, So, I believe him. This company rewards deeply immoral, 1990s era metric management. One CIA after another is the result.

what do you mean? I mean, we missed the 505 metric goal by a WIDE margin, didn’t get the payout and then they decide to raise our goals this year above and beyond that? Cos’ you know, that makes sense. but we will get them this year! Sell harder with worse coverage-just work harder and smarter!

Way to incentivize your sales force…

Any company that would take over and sell Xiidra would deal with the same harsh reality that Novartis is dealing with. Boxed out of Part D plans by allergan and waiting for them to go generic. Whoever arranged the payoffs from allergen to keep the FDA from approving a generic is a genius. Hard to grow a product when 60% of your market isnt covered. doctors have been doing the access dance for almost 5 years and are sick of it. It doesnt matter how many fancy handouts we have. In a landscape where offices are losing so many employees so quickly who has the time or desire to train people to do all the PA and access work.

Simple. Your job is to convince the doctor that your product is worth the PA and access work. DO YOUR JOB!!!!

hey, good to hear from you home office! We’ll get right on that, and train Stacy the tech to do PA’s, and then after she quits, we will train Linda, and after she quits, we will train Sharon…get the picture? Like the post above-there’s only so long you can do this dance, but when the song keeps changing, the doc goes to the path of least resistance…which ain’t us.

You definitely never worked in the field. That is our job you are correct. It is also home offices job to get this drug covered on one major part D plan. Its been almost 5 years. Yes, 5 years of no coverage for part D. If you think that does not cause frustration for offices id like some of what you are smoking. Offices can only take doing a PA, an Appeal, and whatever else is needed to get a prescription through so many times. Its not just the fact that they have to do a PA but that its consistently denied and when approved the patients pays 5x’s what the competition will be. This is not a vision saving therapy.

Wah! I’d shed a tear for you, but my eyes are too dry.

What kind of person/ceo prefers that members of his team refer to him as "boss" under any context?

Hey Vas deference, you are not the boss of me! You, your sorry ass team, and your mentally challenged illegitimate step daughter (alcon) can go fuck off.

Ahhhh, you seem to be a passionate one. If only you’d channel that passion into your sales pitch, perhaps you’d make goal!!

Also of this, plus making us meet in person in the middle of a pandemic about NOTHING, except to roll play and play some stupid game show. “If you can work out in the field, you can come to the meeting”. Total idiots.

I’m guessing you’re at the lower levels of the sales rankings, am I right?

Says the person thats still sitting in their hello kitty pajamas at home instead of doing their job at the office. Sales force was out in covid two years ago in July. That was before anyone knew wth this virus really was and there was no vaccine. We risked our asses and our family as well. So when you schedule a meeting to play stupid games and role play the same stuff we've been doing for 3 years when covid cases are at an all time high it seems a little unnecessary.
