Expansion?

To above poster in response to “internal employee referral.” I was not implying anything about having an edge due to this. I was simply asking about timelines as I have little information about interview dates etc. I’m curious to hear when all start receiving calls so we know if the process is moving along with or without us. I appreciate all the feedback. Thank you.

I can promise we are not waiting on Genentech layoffs. In fact, my manager said that they are being directed to stay away from a Genentech due to their culture and lazy reps.

well that 100% isn’t true. You just hired a director from Genentech and she is going to bring multiple managers and reps with her. And that’s just the 1 I know for sure that has put in her notice- I know of 3 others around the country that are waiting. Fact is Seattle Genetics needs people that know what they are doing- you guys aren’t getting it done. The next launch is highly competitive market where you need seasoned managers and reps. Next...

Encouraged to see half of the new DM positions just went to Seattle Genetics employees. I personally don’t care where others come from so long as they work hard, know their stuff and are easy to work with.

I hate to burst the bubble for you Genentech people. While the RSD is coming. They can only bring 1 person per Division.

If that is true you are just screwing your own launch up. Hard to believe that would be true though. So much experience and talent- things your little company desperately needs. Plenty of jobs though and we will easily land on our feet.

I hope that everyone does. However, most would agree that Genentech is in the situation because of many of the lazy, privileged reps that have been there for a long time. Many had the opportunity to join Seattle Genetics before and decided not to. They will not get a 2nd chance. Wish you luck.

funny never see SG reps out anywhere.

190k for someone they really want. Big stock equity package too and sign on bonus.

Way to many Genentech people coming here will ruin our culture. Also heard that managers will only be allowed to hire 1 person for entire district from the company they came from. So if you are from Genentech and are a rep thinking it will be an easy jump with your manager think again. Another regional mgr from Genentech hired recently not sure if she has given notice yet. Its getting ridiculous.

These Genentech hires will ruin the culture. Add that to the RM in hem that should have never been hired and there you go. Lots of egos that will do anything for self promotion. An oral oncolytic is a beast and a different sell. These leaders don’t know how to sell in a competitive market let alone in the oral space.
Best of luck as this might be the first franchise in the company to sink. Please keep the Genentech people out of here.

it’s apparent by your post you have little experience in oncology. Genentech has been in the most competitive space in oncology and has dominated. Your small and yet unsuccessful company will be glad to have us and the stock price will soar because of it.

Nancy was one of our best and I’m still surprised Seattle Genetics was able to get her to come over. In general your reps are way underpaid and under qualified in oncology. They must have offered her a kings ransom. I’m waiting for my offer and will be surprised if it’s enough to make me leave.

These are the facts. Sorry if the truth is tough to hear.
