Expansion territories

I interviewed a while back and the overwhelming suspicion is that the recruiters overpromise, overpursue and paint a more optimistic picture than the manager. No one was able to assuage any fears about the future insurance coverage, compliance, etc.

About 30% of new territories hit plan year one. Less than ten hit in year two. This position is a nightmare. Do not accept this job. If you do, get out with in 12 months or you doctors will not respect you. This is a high pressure in your face antagonistic sale. The company is very deceptive in its presentation of supportive evidence for use of the LV. in Illinois we have more and more insurance companies kicking it back and refusing to pay. Hospitals and physicians accurately see the very small niche for this product, and refuse to over prescribe. You must understand that the life of this product is very limited. Do not get involved with this product.

Whoever wrote this is not telling the truth. Great company with solid pay, unless you don't work. I am assuming the person who wrote this was fired for not working and is bitter the party is over.

Well congratulations then you seem to be in a thriving area. Please answer the following then. 1.) What are your career aspirations-only field positions exist (sales or RD) and when do you move to Pittsburgh? 2.) Is your forecast actually built on booked revenue or formulated from a DRG, fixed MSRP? 3.) Work= input to achieve a desired output. Well if you have no control/say on determining the output (e.g. forecast or booked revenue) then working for nothing is inefficient. It is very simplistic to state "poster must not be working" hence, my assumption is that you either have shit for brains and should apologize to your parents for paying for 4 yrs of binge drinking or you are a useless Tit on a bull called middle management here. Please note that not all middle management is not incompetent, many are excellent it is just unfortunate that the culture isn't more uniform to thrive in. In other words sit down dipshit or figure out a way to get this covered. Oh and btw just post or look up the payor policies in Illinois...I did and agree with the previous poster. The culture is horrible. No career ladder or development program/opportunities (outside of a PIP). You may make money for a period of time but it is a gamble not business. Jackson out!

PeRe: Expansion territories

This company is a joke. You'll sell 500k and get one save ,,, no wait that was artifact on the ECG. Sorry doctor that our overpriced underwear shocked your patient innapppropriately. The managers couldn't manage a wet dream and most of then are really not too bright. It's a low ball job with real bad leadership. Most of the managers could lead a kindergarten class- it's real bad- how many reps out of 200+ have been
There for over 5 years- I'd say less than 10...what does
That tell you???

Depends on area. They have really over hired. "Expansion" means no longer introductory product but more of a mature product in cycle. Basically your left with 2nd and 3rd tier cardiologists who could not give a hoot. If your number is low you might do well ($130s) then your underwater. Your mission is to launch eOrdering then your fired. That is the mission. Ask your interviewer, what your quota will be and ask to see the historical numbers for the territory and how they forecast....lol

Your income will depend on knowing that but see how deftly they talk around it.

Put the vest on yourself and get the sh-- shocked out of you and that might be the incentive you need to run, run, run Forest as fast as your little crooked legs can carry you from this company..
