Although the salary factor may be true, people don’t leave jobs that easily if they’re happy, feel valued and appreciated. The Opko culture is a dictatorship with a narcissist NSD barking orders like there’s no tomorrow.Maybe if we paid Ardelyx salaries they never would have left. I think even if we offered those salaries, those folks would still be gone. We are all employees at will and can leave at any time. There was something Ardelyx offered over and above compensation that was attractive to these folks. I am not surprised they came for my folks. They are the best. Novo is building out a new renal salesforce. The recruiter told me that Farmer and Devito have already been turned down.They have nothing to offer their folks. Opko can offer nothing but a job for a needy person.
