Excited about NFM?

Ahhh, NSM 2020. Enjoy it because the this will possibly be the last “Genentech” NSM/costume party shit show. Roche has sat back for many years and my friends in Switzerland tell me that the day is coming soon when they will finally divest from the Genentech name and fully implement the Roche name in SSF. The old blue hexagon will be fully in view. It was just a matter of time and makes complete sense considering the full rebranding of the culture to the new “ecosystem” model. Plus, when biosimilars enter the market, it will help to disassociate the Gene name knowing how pissed off many of those large purchasing centers were when the greedy assholes changed their distribution model in oncology. So no more “Genentech, a member of the Roche Group......plain old Roche!
 






Some of the architects of CEOTF were cheating on their spouses and sleeping with each other at NFM 2019. They have since played a role in installing each other into positions of leadership.

Funny how that works out.

Wouldn’t surprise me a bit. The Swiss have left us alone but there are changes ahead.
 






This is going to be one sh-t show. Those who were selected to be in the pioneer have to pretend to be excited about their future. Those who did not get selected have to also pretend to be excited about their future and severance. Those senior leadership clowns have to pretend that they care and know more than anyone about this elusive "mindset" crap. Those HEDs and HDs have to pretend that they know what the hell is going on and that they are smarter than everyone else.

I think our band will be The Pretenders" Thy will sing " On the Chain Gang" and " I Hate Myself" for the ones who are staying in this sorry place, " Middle of the Road' for the future of this company. "Creep" for DA. "Precious" for NO's virtual hugs for those who are upset. Other great hits from them are "My City Was Gone" and "The Needle and the Damage Done".

Spot on and an excellent ode to The Pretenders and linking their songs to the situation here. You can't forget their all time classic ”Mystery Achievement ” which has to fit in this dumpster fire some how.

Oh, to be in Vegas this week and getting ripped nightly while partying it up with the babes and ho’s of BioOnc. Those were the days. Can I get an amen for anyone missing the old DNA?
