Could not agree more! I'm most concerned about the fact they cut some of the highest performing reps, while hanging on to those providing no financial benefit to the company. Selection based solely on who Managers "liked" within first four months. When a company runs more like a clubhouse than a business, it's not in the best interest for investors nor employees. What a poor financial and cultural decision.

How deep were cuts?

I don't know what's going on in this board--I know for a fact they just hired a new wave of reps directly to Exact. They have a training & sales meeting early March. Who has confirmation of layoffs--was it Quintiles reps?

Quintiles delayed payments of checks and bonuses. Top reps left the company. This company is in chaos. Wouldn't be surprised if they sold it in a few months. After all, the guy did it to his last company. This is America though.

Quintiles LOL ! they act like they are great but have about as many jobs as PDI has.
How much bonus did you get ? So true re the CEO and the top management they have absurd amounts of options and have made big $ already. Getting options at paltry amounts so they can cash out is their plan for sure.

The layoff is the Quintiles contract because they are now direct hiring. They kept top reps, so if they didn't keep you they didn't have a reason to. I guess if you can't make it through the hurdles of a start up then why are you working with them? Go over to some of the pharma boards and see who has real problems.

Direct hiring LOL Exact Sciences is so freakin cheap it's beyond laughable. I've NEVER heard of anyone direct hiring and paying the same $ they did with the CSO reps pathetic.

Learn your facts before you posts. They had 94 reps and kept some of their bottom 10-20% performers while cutting some of their top reps.

I was also wondering what the deal was with Exact after the fact also but the chatter on here is nowhere to be found strange ! I interviewed but ended up at a non CSO job after going through the process with Quintiles. The comp for this contract was base 70k and 15K yr 1 bonus which was lower than I thought they would pay but it is CSO. Maybe the comp has changed ? I think this has potential but it's a 2yr contract (yes there is rollover for some but when ?) and you have to think EXAS wants to put as much $ in their pocket as possible. Hence in terms of being generous with reps I don't see EXAS doing that till at least a yr plus out from now but maybe I'm off on that who knows. They need Cologuard to bring in significant $ first and foremost.
