Ethicon Endo Breast Care Division

If you have experience, base is $50K. Your target base+comp = $110K and only a few are making that. The product is old and J&J doesn't do a thing to make things better. The competition is light years ahead with regards to marketing, developing quality products and training customers. Because of this, the bonus structure stinks. Plenty of other great companies. EES is not one of them. RUN AWAY from this position!!! You will be very unhappy and very poor.

Does anyone happen to know the base salary range for this position?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks everyone!

Does anyone else have any info on the breat Care division? Thanks to the last poster for the info! Much appreciated.

Spoke with some peple and was told that Ethicon-Endo has good products.
Mamotome? biosy kits.

What about salary. Does anyone have any insight? I know one post said $40,000 base and another the last said $50,000.

As a PCP rep. I will prbably make $85,000-$90,000. An unusally good year, although if we had the old bonus plan Our POD would be making SIGNIFICANTLY more money.

Is it worth it to move to this division?

I just got a call also for this position yesterday. Is this division any good?
It's gotta be better than primary care at PriCara.

Currently rank 33 of 450 in the nation for Pricara and my wonderful bonus (ha ha) is only $7.200. If i stay on track for the rest of the year I should make about $29,000 in bonus and my current base is 65,000.
This brings my salary up to $89,000.

Is it worth it to take a position at Ethicon in this division or should I stay where I am?

Thanks!

Boston has a pretty good install base. Much like a Pharma job, you will be taking care of existing accounts. Converting accounts from competitors is rare, because Ethicon is 5-7 years behind the competition in terms of technology. Your job is to not lose business, and this can be tough.

If you like to hunt & convert business, this is not the job. If you want to get into device & have a great training ground-this could be a great transition. Probably make 110-120K

Good Luck, Ethicon is a great company

Thanks for the candid info. I'm a high-performing pharma specialty rep with 7+ years of top sales results and in the management development program. Don't mean to give you my bio, but just wanted some advice. I'm making about $125 - $130 now with base and bonus. What do the middle to top reps make at Ethicon? Curious bc I'm very interested in device sales, but I'd like to look at where I can make considerably more if things go well. Thanks!

Don't waste your time with this division of Ethicon. Although some of the other ones are good........the DM's and above do not do a very good job!
(In My Opinion)
Not saying that I could do it better, I probably couldn't but these folks????
It just amazes me!

Clearly none of you clowns actually work for EES. I've been working for the Breast Care division since the late spring and can tell you with absolute certainty that 95% of the above statements are absolute B.S. Here's what you need to know:

Base Pay - $50K for the majority of new hires

Total Comp at 100% of plan - $126K

Management - Extremely motivated and eager to make you better

Promotions - Come quick to those who earn it

Products - Still the gold standard dispite what the pathetic Suros and SenoRx Reps say. The only reason they have any market share is because they give away their Capital for free and jack up the price of disposables or package it with a Prone table. They wouldn't know how to sell clinically if it kicked them in the ass.

If you want to be hired by a well respected company that puts their money where their mouth is than EES is the place for you.

Base is between $60K or $70K depending on what you gave made in the last 3 years..... Made over $120K two out of three years you get $70K if less you get $60K

Keep kidding yourself, it may actually come true. 126K, wow, what a living
