I figured that I would do the same, DD.

Well, take it from me, it is NOT easy. Especially the lower pay. But one thing about real sales people -- we will ALWAYS do what we have to do to survive. And reinvent ourselves when we have to.

God one. I left 3 times. Came back after the 1st 2 times, retired the 3rd time. Hey, people bitch about any job. Mine were all good rides, it was just dealing with idiotic management - like the guy who was on board to be my next manager (30 years old and thought he knew more about my territory that I did after 28 years and having won almost every top award). That was frustrating. Best of luck.

Oh, I wasn't aware I had agreed with a Scientology belief. But that is a true statement. Big pharma does not want to cure anything.

Now, back to Wonka's big news of returning to pharma. I will admit I really miss talking with the docs and nurses --and the $$. But I do not miss the micro managing egotistical assholes I worked for. I had 2 great DM's out of 15 in a 12 year career with one company.

You mean kind of like my pet saying, that politicians want issues, not solutions.

And after 3 weeks in one of the new robust economies (think BRIC) I can safely say it's the same thing there with BOTH politics and medical care. They sell their Rx products OTC along side 'herbal remedies' and the pharmacist guides you (if you don't have a prior recommendation) to whatever one he wishes to sell you - probably the most profitable. With all our problems and with all the crooked companies and politicians we have (which is damn near every one of them) this is the place to be.

Just think for a second - if there were no issues, we wouldn't need them. That's what scumbag attorneys do best - keep issues alive.
