Estimated Time of Arrival

So I'm probably coming back to pharma. I'll have more time to spend here!

Oh, I wasn't aware I had agreed with a Scientology belief. But that is a true statement. Big pharma does not want to cure anything.

Now, back to Wonka's big news of returning to pharma. I will admit I really miss talking with the docs and nurses --and the $$. But I do not miss the micro managing egotistical assholes I worked for. I had 2 great DM's out of 15 in a 12 year career with one company.

Damn, BSRN's around here make $35+/hour. I could easily live on that.....hell, I'm living on a lot LESS than that now.

But then again, I've simplified a lot in the past few years.

Chicago is expensive.

I appreciate your candor. Many people do not understand Scientology and no, I am not one but a good friend is. Sure, there are extremists amongst them but there are also very normal people - just like Christianity, Judaism and Islam. The majority of them just use it as a very good philosophy of how to deal with day to day life. I wouldn't really even call it a religion but then again, how can all the others be called religions. Anyway, their thoughts on the pharma industry are exactly like yours. You can actually view pharma and the AMA as a type of mind control. The pharma/medical establishment has control; of our minds and has sold us a very profitable bill of goods and most people go along with it like sheep.

For me, working in pharma is like being a good actor in a bad movie.

Chicago is expensive.

No kidding....Mr. Dump and I spent a week there a couple of years ago. Stayed in a hotel/apt building a block off of Madison and right next to the Hancock building. That was a really good deal, but everything else was expensive. We loved riding the train.

BTW, if you end up as a DM, and need a rep in these parts, let me know. I can recommend a very good person.

EXACTLY!!!!

Wonka's looking to get back in....funny, since most of us a scratching and clawing to GET OUT.

FT, If you REALLY wanted out, you'd be out. I waited until they didn't want me anymore -- it's called golden handcuffs. Then I was forced to make decisions I had put off for years.
