energy position Albany, NY

The base is 55k and target is 80k for $135k at plan. Talked to a recruiter yesterday working on it and they are being told to quote those numbers. Said range first year is 135k to 155k but if you knock it out you can do 160-170k. Any truth to these numbers?

Guess what ..the fucking point is that no one makes plan! It's a dream. Most of the sales force missed their number. It's a. If game to fuck the reps out of the little shit commissions they receive.

Get your facts right. 81 reps are over 100% of plan as of two weeks to go for the year. Another 22 were 97% or better. A conservative bet is that over 100 reps will be at plan at the end of the year, as their is a lot of movement in the last two weeks.

I am not sayin that everything is perfect at Covidien, but I am one that made plan and just hate reps that write crap on here because they didn't.

To the last post - "over 100?" That's your idea that a lot of reps make plan? Not even counting EBD, there's about 450 to 500 among WC, SD and hernia. A 20 to 25% hit ratio sucks. Glad to have moved on...

To The idiot poster above, all of those divisions have different comp plans. The energy division does have a majority of reps over plan. You would know that if you worked at Covidien instead of just trolling the Covidien posts........

To the last fucking clown - I did just leave, and couldn't be happier to have left a place with more management team changes than years passed since I joined in 2006. Keep drinking the kool-aid and enjoy reprocessing and the robot eating your lunch if the medical device tax that's changing the model doesn't kick your ass out first...

To the last poster: you are complete DOUCHE. The last rep moved the needle in a positive direction in many accounts. The problem was he inherited a complete shit show from the last rep. See how bad it bleeds in the coming months now that he is gone.

Really?! Whatever Obama. Guess what, they hired you to fix it and you failed. Get out of the way and learn to take accountability for yourself. We all inherit some crap; overstocking, pissed off key account, recent conversion. Get over it and make a positive impact. If it were easy everyone would do it and it would pay very well.

Anybody have any feedback for the energy opening in DE? Contacted about that position by a recruiter. Apparently previous rep was promoted? Looking for realistic pay expectations and is there true residual business there? Thanks

If you are currently in medical sales making over $130k do not take this job. Nobody here is happy. We are getting beat down by robotics, reprocessing, and overly aggressive quotas. I speak the truth when i say over half of the sales force has resumes on the street. Stay away.

Recruiter said rep was promoted which is why opening. Just curious.....is the product accepted well, or no? And quota's crazy unattainable? Thanks again
