A lot of speculation about how many empty territories there are in the OBU.
Go to iiview. Scroll over to QTD call average.
There are currently 40 territories with 0 calls for the C4W time period.
There are another 45 territories with an average of 6 or less. You know- like 1.7 call average. There are another 20 with less than 7 call average. I assume these territories had resignations at some point since 11/1/19.
Another 40 fall below 8 call average, but maybe some of those are rural high windshield time territories.

Now this is not science, but I would suspect that over 100 territories have no current rep. I might even speculate that some of those with very low call averages are folks who are waiting to resign and just hanging on with a few calls here and there.

That leaves less than 150 reps.

better sneak a peak soon. once they read this post, and they DO read them, they will take that information off of iiview.

desperation has set in. they are sending threat letters to reps who have left for other eye pharma companies. zds are calling reps that resign and berating them, telling them they are foolish to leave. i have heard this from numerous reps who have resigned. maybe they should rethink and realize they are foolish to stay.

there are more companies hiring. more will leave. this is not about a buy out. it’s about poor management, poor forecasting, lies, boredom with dry eye, selling pillpack, coupons & other gimmicks like used car salesmen.

we have whittled down to less than half the original sales team. growth is not going to keep pace. we all know this is a share of voice market. regardless of what MC says, expect high goals as those who stay will have to pull the weight of those who left. forecasting for 2019 has already been completed.

What's your point? We are Takeda now and they will decide next steps. Sales reps should stop worrying about things they have no control over. Now get out their and make customer sales calls.

The point? Lots of questions about how many have left the OBU.

Just make your sales/sandwich calls! Pharma reps are a drain on the health care system!! My doc doesn’t see reps! She says she can buy her own lunch.
