Eisai joke

I worked in Finance ("FITA") for 3 years. There were some really good people and then there were a lot of suck ups and tools. The CFO was a sexual harassment case waiting to happen. The CFO's protege was a tall, Indian-American woman who kissed his ass and then treated everyone else like shit. She was horrible to deal with...no personality except for one trait...she always had to be right. She ran off so many good people to build her silo.

There was a total lack of leadership and vision within the company. President Coats was a nice guy that I personally liked, but he wasn't prepared for the bureaucracy within the company.

I learned a lot about my job, and after 3 years I cashed in my chips and got the hell out of there. I realized fairly quickly that the company liked to promote the flawed so they could control that flawed individual.

Agreed. Had a 7-year run with the company and what you have described was accurate. I left a few years before the tall, Indian-American woman made her presence known, as did many others. And, she does sound like she was a good fit for Eisai. During my time there LC, OB, DC, and FC ran the show. LC is now CEO at a pre-commercial biotech, OB is a Life Coach, DC is with Sanofi, and who knows what happened to FC.

LC is a tool. He allowed himself to be exploited and ran around like a clown at a circus. I also know about the Indian-American woman who needed a breath mint along with a personality. Her subordinates absolutely despised her. There was several flyers with her caricature on it with the caption "Flush the John".
