I will be opening my best bottle of wine and savoring every word of the WSJ report. Great news like this doesn't come along everyday. I told you lemmings to get out months ago...

We are right where we planned to be. 1 for every 400 scripts is just where we need to be. So eat our assholes.

You just went from $22 million to $3 million in 3 months and you are telling me to eat your asshole? I won't do that but I will have fun eating your wife's honey pot...you brainless pickle-chugger.

The Speciality Sales force doesnt even talk about Effienot anymore. They go around selling Benicar. what in the hell does that tell you. This product sucks. Nice blockbuster Joe!

I don't see why you are all being so negative... Remember that Rome wasn't built over-night. With the economy the way it is, this drug will just be a little slower than expected upon climbing to the 2-3 billion dollar a year range. After all, we have much superior efficacy to Plavix and Effient will save many, many lives so it is well worth the premium price... Think about it, what is your life worth to you?

Thank you Effient Brand Team...now get your resumes together you kool-aid drinking r*****s!

Lilly fucked this up by missing the opportunity to price this bleeder 15% below Plavix instead of 15% more. We would be posting 30 million for the quarter instead of 3 million.

When Plavix was launched (as compared against aspirin) there were no "managed care" or "prior authorization" issues. Be patient, as there is a place in the market for Effient. Don't forget that 30% - 60% of Plavix patients are non-responders.

YES!...be patient Effient sales force. Our drug has a black box WARNING against its use and is more expensive than the gold standard which will be pushed because it is going generic and when it goes generic. So Specialty, how do you feel today?

Pretty damn good as I look at my latest IC statement. Thanks for the concern guy. I agree with the previous poster - we can all thank Lilly for the pricing debacle as well as a DOE hospital division that burns more bridges than builds them. Effient is becoming more of a dog each week but it beats the hell outta pushing Benicar firstline or god forbid Welchol suspension.

WOW, maybe this is why our sales are anemic. Listen up office based rep...we DO NOT save lives over plavix nor is there any data to suggest that...that equation was equivalent. Read your materials first before you speak up.

ANEMIC is the perfect word! Your sales were reduced by 80% in just 3 months! This product blows! But I still can't wait to hear how hospitals are busy stocking up, or the holidays are a bad sales period, or we're right where we are projected to be after 6 months, or be patient and things will turn around. Go DSI!

Jeez, this is one hell of a mess. The second quarter after launch is the real sales figure as the first quarter ater launch was just shelf stocking by the pharmacies. Wonder how many returns will happen in Q1/2010 from the pharmacists who have a shit load of drug sitting on their shelves. Hell, we may even see a negative sales number by April. We can stick a fork in Effient cos it is done. Word of advice for senior management: When you get a black box warning it is probably a mistake to come in at a price premium - stupid, stupid, stupid. Word of advice for the poor bastards selling this dog - get out before it gets really ugly, which by my calculation will be sometime around the end of Q1.

can someome please inform me of Effient's 1st qtr projections. serious responders only.

500 Million. This will be our quarter! We intended the full 3rd quarter to be the difference maker in the life of this product. We have since day one. P&T have now had time to add it on, the availability is there for the IC's. Interest has been shown and the IC's are seeing the results. It will happen!!

Well, thank you Dr. Happypants! If 500M is the number that means we have to find 497M in three months to hit our target. ARE YOU PEOPLE INSANE! This drug is a joke and everyone knows it except for the above poster. Poor bastard.
