Too damn funny! Management (the above person in particular) is so off track, it would take a week to list their mistakes in launching this drug. The time we've spent on begging docs to log in to these stupid webinars (1 has agreed so far!) has cost us no telling how many scripts. Now, the fools have us giving away 100 ct. bottles that will also cost us scripts!! And, why in the hell are we spending a small fortune on district meetings? Idiots all!

Yep, all correct. The IVA is completely unusable. Lies all around, such as was told at the launch meeting about it being covered on all medicaid plans. The forced ranking is totally unfair. This contract is a nightmare.

I doubt it. Duchesnay has to have somebody in the field to sell this "drug". I think the turnover rate will start to really kick into high gear though. They have lied one to many times. They refuse to listen to the field about how useless the webinars and programs are, and are wasting money like it was water.

Just wait until you get that huge bonus check, if we get one !

You will see things start to deteriorate even worse and faster. The data is obviously being manipulated. My guess is that sales nationally are stagnant to very, very slow growth if any. Every person I've spoken to in my district is actively looking to jump ship. We need an immediate change in upper management.

Covers it all. They refuse to admit what the REAL problem is. They know what it is, but they also know there is nothing they can do about it.

The IVA is far worse now than when we first got it. Anyway, there's not a damn thing in it that is needed to sell this drug! The sales data is pure shit and everyone knows it. Don't you find it strange that we have not heard one single word from "management" as to how Diclegis is doing nationwide? My guess, is that sales are way behind where they had hoped they would be.

Time to start looking elsewhere.

Hits the nail on the head. They lied about the contest ending 7/31/13 that was rolled out at the launch meeting. The said all 50 states have medicaid coverage, which was a lie. The sales data is a total lie. Reps w/o medicaid are force ranked against reps that have medicaid for ranking/bonus purposes. They push us to use what they call an "IVA" when it serves absolutely no function whatsoever. Bonus will be little to none for the vast majority of reps.

This will go down and the worst contract in history.
 






It's a shame...product is awesome, dr.s are awesome...but there are too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Every week we have a new bout of busy work. Top 10, 24 samplers, webinars, programs, etc etc. How about just letting us go sell?

Hopeful though...really enjoying selling the product.
 






It's a great product with terrible managed care coverage. Upper management is clueless. We lost 24 Rx's by giving out the full size bottles! 24! They waste money on useless things like the webinars. Docs want to relax when they go home, not get on the computer and listen to some paid doc talk about a product that's 60 years old! They need to totally scrap the IVA. Nobody uses it because there is nothing of value in it for where we are with the drug. Besides it's too damn hard to move around in it anyway.

They don't realize that every move they make is hurting business.
 






Just curious...knowing the national sales manager from the past, are you encouraged to use barrels of licorice in the offices or to "frontload" everything at the beginning of each quarter?
These were always his way of selling for many years and was all he had to offer to obtain successful sales. If you haven't heard them yet...give it time and you will!

Front load was his suggestion. Him and S. are so far in over their heads, it's laughable. This force ranking crap has totally alienated the salesforce. Diclegis will never be the drug it was supposed to be because our "leadership" is so far off the track, that it will never recover.
