Couldn't agree more with this. Why would anyone who believes they are getting laid off wants to invest their time back into Bayer to fight for the 1-2 roles that might be open with like 300 other people. There is no guarantee. On top of that why would I want to. Bayer has not only devalued me but they have failed to respect my worth with the less than 1% merit increase, the grossly reduced STI and LTI, as well as the disgusting stock values which I have lost money on over the last 6 years. To put my faith back into this failing organization to take a mediocre role that I don't even want just to put money in my bank account when there are other companies who want me and are willing to value my worth.... I mean Bayer you have lost sight into what truly is important and have completely dismembered this culture. Bayer deserves to pay severance for screwing up the talented people. The problem is there are many worthless people including leaders who should not be paid salary let alone severance. What is more disappointing, when I chose to leave and got a severance to be shunned by former co-workers for leaving, not applying to anything ay Bayer and taking my severance, shame on them. Why would I NOT take Bayers money and run that have they done for me or shown me that should I should have done differently? You get what you give. It is sad and shocking that those who are still here are suprized or disappointed when those who have been shown the door, leave and take their severance with them. Seriously? Wow
