Well they had to shave 3Billion at Genetech and failed to make any profits so they had to create some bullshit scheme to saw its something different then what it actually is. 'Dollar Bill' won't shave his own salary but happy to use anyone and everyone to get where he needs to be to move to the next sitting duck. Shame

I thought it stands for dumb stupid organization. Which Bayer is.
If you want to layoff people, do it than announcing new stupid words. If it is self organizing, why exactly are people laid off? They should decide to stay or leave themselves.

It is top down to layoff and useless leaders cannot decide anything right then it is self organizing to share blame.

Absolutely! Additionally the meeting in Orlando turned out to be entirely unproductive. When you speak to others who attended, the prevailing sentiment is clear: everyone is actively seeking job opportunities beyond this organization. The atmosphere was filled with frustration and disappointment, underscoring a collective desire for change.

I find it crazy when someone gets laid off - there are only 2 kinds of people. People who definitely do not want another job in Bayer, want to escape it. These are the smart ones.

Another group which tries to find any job within Bayer only as they are incompetent to get a job in any real company. Bayer will be left with only dumb people - DSO makes sense. Dumb Stupid Organization.

Couldn't agree more with this. Why would anyone who believes they are getting laid off wants to invest their time back into Bayer to fight for the 1-2 roles that might be open with like 300 other people. There is no guarantee. On top of that why would I want to. Bayer has not only devalued me but they have failed to respect my worth with the less than 1% merit increase, the grossly reduced STI and LTI, as well as the disgusting stock values which I have lost money on over the last 6 years. To put my faith back into this failing organization to take a mediocre role that I don't even want just to put money in my bank account when there are other companies who want me and are willing to value my worth.... I mean Bayer you have lost sight into what truly is important and have completely dismembered this culture. I see no rationale what so ever to even consider staying here under any circumstance.
What is more disappointing, when I chose to leave and got a severance to be shunned by former co-workers for leaving, not applying to anything ay Bayer and taking my severance, shame on them. Why would I NOT take Bayers money and run that have they done for me or shown me that should I should have done differently? You get what you give. It is sad and shocking that those who are still here are suprized or disappointed when those who have been shown the door, leave and take their severance with them. Seriously? Wow

Bayer deserves to pay severance for screwing up the talented people. The problem is there are many worthless people including leaders who should not be paid salary let alone severance. As there is no way to separate worthless, Bayer keeps draining by paying severance to useless employees.
