Drugmaker Eli Lilly's 1Q profit falls 15 percent

Thats not the only discharge goin' on 'round here...

Shouldn't we at least honor the term "Lilly scandal" with something more memorable like "Fipanomics" or "ABD - Accounting by Diversity" How about we ask to sponsor a "Lilly Day of Accounting" to help out the overworked GBIP folks? I'm sure if we all brought our own calculators we could pitch in. Plus, as many people that are using their cubes as day care centers, maybe little Danny could pitch in and help us remember that dividing by zero doesn't count.

How about "Operation Clean Sweep"

Nah... don't tell me you have nothing to hide.

All we have to do is find the rug....

I wash my hands of any wrong doing these minions may have done during my reign. I am a very humble and innocent King of Pharma. Take these reallocated lepers away from my ivory tower. JL

Lilly is Enron, Kenneth Lay sat on Lilly's Board of Directors for years. In November, 1998 all the employees that had at least 65 points toward retirement were strongly told to diversify their Lilly stock holdings. In the beginning of this decade, Lilly paid the sales reps bonuses based on false sales. Humulin/Humalog preformance scripts ( coupons redeemed at pharmacies) were treated as regular sales. Patients did not pay for these vials, Lilly paid pharmacists a filling fee. Sales looked great, but no money really came into the company. Obama, must have had Lilly as a finance teacher.
