That is old news. I just heard their head of US sales just left after less than one year in post. Bill is such a talented young man with lots of experiences in pharmaceutical sales.
 




Just heard a President’s Club winner left too. The hits just keep coming!!!! If you aren’t looking for a new position, you’re stupid. Those Salix reps are putting rare disease on their resume because of the co-promote. They hate rare disease cause they can’t sell, but don’t let them take jobs. This ship is sinking.

Seven from the sales force have left in the last five weeks. (More than 10% since the National Sales Meeting.) Many more awaiting final offers and anticipate at least three more gone by the end of the quarter. Poor commission (far less than suggested target bonus) and poor stock incentives have driven away the talented.
 




Last September, my upper told me he senses something coming. He overheard they have been approached by parties with interest. He told me to be careful that mass layoff would come soon and only a minimum barebone that they deem appropriate for the future business would be kept to ensure operation till then. None would be 100% safe and the board couldnt care less. Though I am surprised to be among people being laid off but not surprised that they would not change much in the end. This board dont give a sh.t about anything or anyone except money.

I smell an expansion rep here!!! You never should have been hired. The expansion sales force was yet another huge mistake by Paul Manning. The expansion sales force sold exactly zero product. Most of them never worked. Not sure why you’re surprised to have been let go. The whole expansion sales force was a drain on the company.
 




Of course the BOD should be concerned about money. That's why the stockholders bought. It's also why the street is punishing the company - it will be difficult for Paul Manning to bring another company public given all the mistakes he's made with this one

OK, that would explain a lot of why insiders keep buying big (even the previous CEO Alex Sapir), why changing mangement & cutting the labour force all of a sudden without giving any longer try (all those are deemed redundant for the new future business - better laid off now than wondering who will go, who will stay later after..?), why new management seem to avoid answering directly about future after CIT or exact price on ITP when replying analysts in ER calls..

All to one simple answer: they already eye on $ price and dont give a shit about others???
 
























They might get better offer from elsewhere, simple... That is the nature of business... Goods move, people move... all the time... Good or bad move - only future could answer...

Usually that is the case with pharma- but with Dova any validated offer is a good offer. Being unemployed is the only worse thing than being here right now. New geographies are too large for what we get paid for this being rare disease - increased quotas with less support will be the final straw for many.

You should be offered tenure of at least $300000 per year with private healthcare, stock incentive, 5 star resort holiday every quarter. And most importantly a Tesla car for you to cover such geography. On top of that is gym and beauty membership and you should be allowed more flexible hours for relax, excercise, nail & spa (essential to keep fit & pretty in this stressful job). Last but not least, high access budget caliber every month ($10K per quarter sounds reasonable - more support would be highly welcome)

In the end, without you boys and girls, this company is destined to bk...
