Double Down

You and I should get together for drinks. I spent a decade at this godforsaken place and was finally let go. Yeah! The abuse, the lies, the backstabbing became so intolerable. Though I was never on medication, I probably should have been. Managers with huge OEC files were allowed to stay employed to abuse reps. Shame on you Abbott/vie! The sheer amount of dirt I have on this company is enough to bankrupt it.

I know how you feel. Believe it or not I was hired by another bigger pharma company a few years ago and I love it here. We have an open candid policy and no jerks are tolerated. You can opening speak out and express your opinion ,and even tell someone they are being a jerk or exhibiting jerk like behavior. Believe me every Abbott/Abbvie DM I ever had would never make it here because they all exhibited the behaviors that are on our no jerk list. I am valued here. My opinions and leadership are sought out. I am even rewarded with better compensation. Its funny how I could never get anything better than meets at Abbvie/Abbott even if I won allstar. At my new company I have been rated exceeds and far exceeds. I was told by my 20 some no experience DM's at Abbott/Abbvie to sit down and shut up. At my new company my thoughts matter.Don't get discouraged applying to other companies in this industry because I think Abbott/Abbvie is about the worst to work for. Everything else will a step up. Before I came to pharma I worked in another industry also and that's how I am certain Abbvie/Abbott has the worst culture and management around. I wish I had left sooner. Its not an industry problem its an Abbvie/Abbott problem. I hope there is a good spot in hell for all the rotton management at that company.

I believe the employee morale depends on where you are located. I am in Texas and worked with ABBOTT/ABBVIE for a couple years. I actually was very happy with management and the company. I was sad to go.
