There is absolutely nothing wrong with increasing your income! Double dipping is a good thing!
What you should put on your resume depends on how long you've worked at PP. It would be ok to put PP on your resume, but ask your "new" perspective employer not to contact PP. Or do the following:
Of course, if Substitute Teaching appeals to you, you can make- up a story about how you tried to start your own business, but "sadly" failed!
And let everyone know you do have some kind of "patient care" sales experience! It's not that difficult!

Thanks Dipper. I am starting to think you are right. I wasn’t sure at first but now with everything going to hell at PP, I can’t see the harm in looking into this. I’m going to investigate a bit like some of the others who have posted. Might not be such a bad idea right now.

For those of you who are thinking seriously about Substitute Teaching next school year, this is a good time to begin your efforts.
You can stop- by the Administrative Office, drop -off your resume, and fill out the necessary paperwork!
Since most Principals work half the summer, you can have the opportunity to meet with them, and allow them to get to know you! This can greatly help your efforts at becoming a Substitute Teacher!
Of course, you can still attend Networking Breakfasts at Home Care facilities, or at Discharge Planning Depts. at local hospitals, if this is more in line with what you want to do to double dip!

Over the years, a pattern develops. This is important because it enables you to work both jobs successfully! I enjoy my other pharma job rather than PP.
The use of my PP company car, as a"personal" is also a good money- maker for gas. My other pharma job pays a monthly allowance instead of a giving us a company car! But PP always pays for actual gas. I just get 2 receipts! when I stop for gas! PP has a slightly better medical plan, so I'm using it for my wife and myself, and my one son!
But my other pharma job has a better "savings" plan now.
And of course, I've attended Regional Meetings with each company. It can be done! And I've been to seven NSM'S. It can be done!

I plan on leaving my resume with 2 school district offices this week. for me middle school is where id like to teach

I want to meet a couple of the principals. Ill let them know Im working parttime but want to consider teaching as

a career move. but I want to try subbing first. my kids will both be in middle school next yr.

I agree with your decision. Meeting with people from the district where you would like to Substitute Teach will give you the opportunity to get to know administrators, and allow them to get to know you. Assuming you make a favorable impression, they will call you to sub!
While working at PP, you should be able to accept one or two offers to teach. This is the good thing about Substitute Teaching; you can pick and choose the days you want to work!
Where I live, the two districts around here pay about $85. for each teaching job! If you don't need to make a lot of money, it's good, and it's safe!
Of course if you are looking to make more money, Networking at a SR. Living Facility, or at a Discharge Planning Dept. is what you need to do! Attend one of their Networking Breakfasts!

I double dipped for years. Worked here and as a dental rep. This assured no crossovers or accidental slip ups at offices. In dental you work 1099 and drive your own car. I would just see a few MDs, then catch a couple DDS. It wasn't hard at all. Dental isn't micromanaged like Pharma, you are pretty much your own boss.

I drive my own car with my other pharma job too, and have for almost 9 years now. But my own car has always been my PP car, which they believe is my personal car! Since they pay for gas based upon mileage, I've made out quite well by giving them gas receipts for over 8 1/2 years! PP pays for my gas of course, and my other pharma job pays me directly for Purdue's gas!!
