Okay, so once reset, how long is the timer good for before this happens again?
It is like Mission Impossible. You have 1 minute to figure things out.

Push #777
Under the general settings. Push up and down arrows for 10 seconds then it goes to hidden screen. Once in hidden menu, go to reset timer, then enter #777. Then push ok. Ok again to exit menu. You are set for 6 more months for usage.
There ya go.

For the code try entering "iadumbass"I have had to use a KCI Activac wound vac a few times over the last 6 years due to malfunctioning cushions. This current time, my doctor wanted me to go to a wound care doctor and let them prescribe the wound vac. However it would require me to be picked up by an ambulance on a gurney once a week and brought to a wound care center over 1 hour away. They would not know how to deal with my extreme muscle spasms.
I found a KCI Activac wound vac and supplies second-hand where an insurance paid for the device, but then the person passed away. I have an LVN nurse friend that is trained in wound vacs. She has put one on me dozens of times. My problem is that the "Service Timer Expired" alarm stays on and I need the 8 digit reset code that is derived from my serial #.
The unit still does it's job, but because the service timer alarm stays on, there's no different alarm to tell you when there is a leak. That can be scary, because if you go a long time without noticing a leak, an infection could set in. The fact is, these units are out there in the second market, and desperate people without insurance are going to use them to save their life. And I'm sure even KCI doesn't want people to get injured worse just because their service expired alarm interfered with the leak alarm.
I'm asking if anyone knows a KCI or Acelity representative or a nurse that may know one, will you please have them contact me at the email below with any tricks they may know to turn off the alarm...or take my serial # and get the reset code from KCI? I will give you a small compensation for your help.

To the OP,
If you post the bar code #, I can obtain the service code # to unlock it. It's very easy to fix, these people are clowns
hi i am interested in a code to how to contact?
Greetings most elite calculator. My home health agency let me borrow an acti v.a.c that was never picked up by kci. Lo and behold, the vac has the infamous service timer expired. Will you send me the formula for creating a code. Thanks in advance. I already ordered some dressings off of eBay. I've been fighting a surgical wound for near three years. Just got back on the vac end of 01.2011 and the idiot NP pulled me off of the vac for no reason. My wound is the best that it has ever been in years. I think that they wanted to put me in their ltac and milk my insurance. Nevertheless, any help would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely,

Contact me atNeed a Service expire code for acti vac, thanks
Hi, I recently sold an ActiVAC, and the lady I sold it to says that it keeps giving her the error "Service timed out, 0 days left, enter code" and then it shuts off after 15 minutes, making it useless. Does anyone know how to fix this and what the code is? I just happened to find it at a Goodwill, so I don't really know much about it and don't have any of the codes or the manual for it. Also, does anyone know if there's anywhere you can download a manual? She already tried contacting KCI, and they were of no help and just wanted her to give them the machine. If anyone knows anything about how to fix this, it would be extremely appreciated. Thanks!
