DOES ANYONE HAVE PROOF?? MONITORING CP

first of all, someone mentioned earlier that 'since these posts are anonymous....'
be certain, people, that nothing that takes place on the internet is anonymous. everytime you post something your ip address is linked to it. should a slander suit or God knows what else arise, it would take about 15 seconds to know who posted it.

TOLL ELSEWHERE HR!! IN YOUR DREAMS you may have power over reps but you certainly have NO POWER over this site. Your threats are lame and useless.

This is not necessarily true, and it is not true in our case. Per our policies, we do not record IP addresses with anonymous posts.

I know you've said this several times, but it begs a couple of additional questions:

1) Certainly, you could do this if you wanted or were forced to

2) For registered users, is there any situation short of actual legal action that would precipitate you releasing this information to a third party?

3) How do you decide to remove posts? In the absence of information on this issue, many members fear a cozy relationship with Pharma company management. Could you address this?

I am a Novartis DM with 7 years under my belt now; You all can rest assured that 100% of NVS DMs look this board on a weekly basis (or sometimes on a daily basis)

Myself and my fellow DMs only look to make sure that our names are on it, so we can contact the fine foles over at CP and have it removed.

1) We cannot be forced to provide information that does not exist in the first place.

2) Our policy is to not reveal user information on any user, anonymous or registered. In the event of compelling evidence that the site had been used for serious (violent) criminal activity, we would consider working directly with law enforcement. To date, this has not been the case.

3) We have no relationship with any pharmaceutical company. We do have clearly outlined board posting policies (http://www.cafepharma.com/boards/forumdisplay.php?f=64). We base moderation decisions on these policies. When we become aware of threads that are in violation, we delete them.

I said this in an earlier thread... Told you so.

With all the recent attention to cp, and how sarah has handled it so well, I am willing to give cp/sarah the benefit of the doubt on this one.

I do remember some names, maybe someone protested and it was removed.
We may never know. However, I do not believe there has been any payoff.

My suggestion... Start a new thread, all the more reason not to give up the fight for truth and justice.

God Bless

7 years under your belt? Haw many times did you remove it (the belt) to make it this far?

Recently, thread by the name; "Their sins Worldwide...." was pulled by CP. Someone published the name of EH BPO and his email address. Also Basel's BPO email address. If your name is published you 2 can request it be removed from CP. So do you still wonder who is watching?

Do you want them or don't you want them? It is hard to be sure 100% but most likely they do in some ways. Besides they were sent several of top visiting posts, like WBers unite, BPO, Payback time, Their sins.. and few others. We want them to look at these. the best proof would be if they reacted in some way. They did not and would not break their silence and omerta for anything that is exposed here.
For instance one was challanging them to renegotiate the deal they fucked him with or press, feds, courts of law would be involved. Nothing ,they we are sure know who the person is but nothing. In the meantime the case is going forward and in the end if successful it would cost them most likely in millions instead few hundredthousands. Plus PR damage will be unbeliavable. They will not be able to get a cleaning lady to go to their meetings and take their bribes let alone doctors of any reputation. They still think they are untouchable. They are not. And anyone going after them has a chance if done properly. So do it.
Also we exchanged few e-mails with Dr. P.Rost, when we exposed some shit re Novartis there. He told us that everyday large number of Novartis head offices computers were looking at his blog. He had a way to tell it. That is a good proof.
Also we noticed the other day that during "selling" hours WBers unite post was visited over 25 times in less then an hour. Who do you think that was? Office types. Who does it. For sure BPO and HR with specific persons plus all of them.
Now if you want to forward some of the posts, two good places:
business.practicesofficer@novartis.com - this will take it to Basel and world BPO. And mark.hennion@novartis.com - this will take it to EH BPO.
That is yur answer: they are watching but they will not react. OMERTA is their word just like any other mafia. Capicce.

Check out the post Entitled: Ways to Stick It To Your Bastard/Bitch Manager. I'm posing a new idea two or three times a week starting now. So are others. So, Read this below:

Hey, from all the posts I've read lately, it seems there's definitely an upswing in the trend among Novartis DMs to treat their reps unethically and with intimidation tactics. This may or may not be due to directives from higher up. Although I highly suspect that it is, I really don't care. Afterall, over 2500 reps have been "run off" or fired since the "1000 Rep Layoff" announcement in 2007. That's actually a total of 3500 reps gone and counting since November 07. So, if your one that seems to be on the proverbial chopping block. Fight Back! I'm starting this thread to list and invite suggestions for how that can be done.

#1: Pull all of your FCRs for a year. Check each date against your calendars and Edge data. If you're like many I've talked to (and I mean many), you will discover that DMs report on their FCRs (and submit to their RDs) that they were in the field with you at times they weren't. Find these dates and report them. You can do this anonymously if that makes you feel better. Include any notes you may have in your calendar and include any details that you remember from that day. I myself, found several like this. One day, I even found in my phone records that my DM called me 6 times for a total air time of 23 minutes during a day that he reported in an FCR that he was with me. Why would he call me 6 times for a total talk time of 23 minutes if he was supposedly with me that day making calls? Didn't Happen? What he did was call me to tell me he was going to be late, then later, then later, then finally told me he'd ride with me the next day. But he wasn't ever with me that day. But guess what. He entered an FCR with "negative" comments about what he allegedly observed (he didn't) and submitted it without my closing it out. That's right. He knows my password and closed it out himself. I know that DMs do that often. So, this week's WTSITYBM (way to stick it to your bastard manager) is to report false FCR submissions. If you look, most of you'll find em. Let's hear your stories! And keep checkin that post called "Way to Stick It To Your Bastard Manager" for more ideas at least weekly. I have a bunch.

3500? Since Nov 07, I don't know about that one.
Don't get me wrong, we have had quite a few, but no way 3500 reps.
Unless you mean total nvs employees, than I guess, maybe?

#11: If this is really so and y0u can prove they do it to you, the worse thing you can do is to go to the management or BPO. I listed two BPO e-addresses. You want to try them. Go ahead make their day. It will be you whose ass will be done and you'll be out. Better way is to collect all this info and more and do what was shown to work here and at other blogs. Do what the Merck guy did recently. That is the way to get these crooks on mass. The whole bunch of them the whole Nova-mafia. That is the way to get the bastards. If you go to management or BPO they will do what they always do; protect their kind. Cover it up and get your ass out. So think about it.

I feel sorry for all of you! Spinning each other bs, trying to be important, rebelling against everything and anything. Just go and do some work! Do it properly and behave correctly. Then you don't need to worry about BPO or CS, whether they read CP boards (mostly a load of drivel but they still do read it - and yes, you can be found, contrary to prevailing belief here).
If you don't like NVS, go find your utopia elsewhere instead of rubbishing people and procedures. And no, I am not one of them. Just cannot believe what I stumbled upon! Lollll!

Nvs does moniter the site 24/7 at a corporate level.

My counterpart was involved in Major litigation against the company and during depositions Nvs attny's asked if he/she was ever on cafepharma, and if so, what exactly was written.

They pulled out computer printouts showing times and dates that his/her computer was registered as being on line with the site, but apparently they had no information on what was written, just the fact that he/she was indeed on the site.

My partner never posted anything, but was on quite a bit. I believe they were attempting to label him/her as a malcontent and was just exacting a vendetta, but in the end they looked like cry babies and the feds said show us proof that he/she shared something on the site that was detrimental to your company, and of course, they could not.

So if I was employed with this company, I would always use my home computer to visit this site. Just Sayin' ;-]

P.S. Hi Corp, How do you like them apples???

Did they try to get information from your partners home computer?

If they did they didn't tip their hand during depo's.

I believe that would be invasion of privacy....not like that has stopped them before.

Tactics used on my partner that were found during discovery were P.I. surveillance at work and home, combing thru trash, B.P.O. intimidation, computer/co. phone monitering, and GPS tracking of vehicle.

All of which failed to convince feds of anything, but did reinforce the belief that NVS had something to hide. Now my partner lives on Easy Street, Literally.
