DO you love Trevor Mundel ?

Not sure if I "love" Trevor...

But I sure LOVE these postings - at least the people at Developement are finding a funny side to their misery.

Keep the funnies coming, mates !

How did Trevor make Ameets conflict of interest bpo case go away? By letting others take the fall?!
Smart move realizing he can't survive without Ameet... no matter the cost and damage to others

So, this thread starts with "Why do you love him so much" - but then it's just ranting. But am I interpreting this right that a lot of people do indeed think he's great? Or is he detested throughout the company?

I might actually ;-) I am so curious to learn what makes him such a controversial figure within Novartis. I don't work with him so I have a different perspective - I met him at an event in Switzerland. However, I'd really like to understand the sentiments... If you ask why people "love him so much," I'd imagine it has to do with his pleasant presence; he's very polite, seems quite humble, easy to talk to, intelligent.

However, when I read this thread it seems that this is not at all how you guys see him. Apparently his HR policies are alienating, people don't find him approachable, some people don't think he is competent at all... I wonder whether that is just a question of perspective - or whether he really has these two sides. What do people think?

Controversial figure? I am not sure how many employees with a positive opinion on him other than a few buddies.

As a Novartian, my perspective simple: The Head of Development needs to understand the challenges of drug development of today which TM demonstrated countless times he didn't. I couldn't care less if he is polite, humble, easy to talk to at events if in his Novartis job he's too ignorant or dumb or both to understand the business. Even worse, he was not interest to listen to those who are capable and from which he could have learned a lot. Hope he won't waste too much of Bill Gates' bucks, those who are in need of help deserve better than Trevor.
