You seem like the DA. Left a controlling manager that would make you feel bad if you took PTO, would like to ride with you every two weeks, would annoy offices. Now I’m making way more with the opposite of that as a manager.Dumbass

It’s because they don’t trust their reps and want to make sure they are not home with their kids or away on vacation making up fake info. There is no other way to track you other than ride alongs. It’s a micromanagement tool and it’s only going to get worse once you are all contract reps soon. You will live by reach, frequency and signatures.My manager is already riding with us. Seems a little counterproductive. I’m pretty sure I can figure this information gathering out without a manager looking over my shoulder.

It was bad during SEG they forced everyone out that performed in the bottom. I’m so glad I got out. People complain that other small to middle to big Pharma is bad. NO it is not. As long as you have a good product with okay managed care that’s better than having nothing. The reps at Kowa have been out of the field for 6 months now with nothing. I’m surprised they haven’t laid off everyone. Even this “ Arctic “ thing isn’t official. It’s just JM buying time. I heard they are forcing reps into offices with nothing official. I love my manager. The managers above mine have questionable business acumen. DMs ride with us because they are forced to. It’s not their fault. Do you think it is fun for them to watch you go in and collect business cards? You people who are complaining are the same assholes who will complain that the list was incorrect and you wasted half of your day going to nonexistent practices. Get it over with now. Cry more millennials.

Fax. I remember hearing this one district manager on our last regional call gloating about being with the company for over 20 years. She didn’t realise how dumb she sounded because she could have doubled if not tripled her salary potential had she left and found new jobs over time. I can’t believe how dumb the people who actually stick around are.
