do we stay home wed?

Yeah, you will hear nothing until the very, very last second. All designed to keep you working like a futuristic, unfeeling, uncaring robot. You will then read the email, do what it says and if you are kept you will receive another email with your new panel.

Enjoy.

No. All Institutional 1, 2 and 3 are safe as well.

BS, Everybody will be told to stay home on Wed and wait by the phone. Some reps were already informed to do so. Whether you received communication or not, depends upon your RD. Some RDs have told DMs to reach out to their reps, now. DMs will be informed of their fate on Tuesday.

I thought it was monday? Oh well, like it matters.

All will be said and done by Wednesday.

Buckle up.

BS. FSR1 has already been told they we are the Actavis GI sales force. Actavis legacy GI will have to sit home Wednesday to see if there are any openings to join our group

Yeah, I think you're just thinking about your situation. But PCP reps will for sure be staying home Wednesday waiting to get the news. I can't speak for other sales forces. But PCP reps for sure.

You are so informed. Did you Not hear JL on the conf call say IS1 is adding reps? No changes.

Yes I was on the call and it is true some divisions are more safe than others. I think everybody will be sitting by the phone on Wed. You still may be employed but you may have a new manager, change in territory and perhaps a new product or 2. If you think IS1 is exempt from sitting by the phone on Wed, I guess it's because you are sooooooo special.

Don't believe 90% of what you read here. I haven't been here in years but thought I would see what the naysayers and skeptics are saying. RDs know everything. There are 2 RDs per region each will take one of the specialty bags and also have several PCP divisions. The RDs won't have exclusive products however and there will be overlap due to all the different bag combinations. There are some DMs that have been around a while that have some of the details as well but most won't know anything until Tuesday. DMs find out if they were placed and then late in the day will get details on the specifics regarding reps, products, territories, etc. The cuts will be exactly as JL said, 13%. Only some of this head count reduction will come from the active sales force given the number of vacancies. Even if you are displaced next week you will have the option of posting for an open position provided you are in good standing; not on a Plan or probation. Because of how this will go down, There will definitely be some people displaced and actually get a promotion out of the situation because none of the vacant specialty openings were filled and these openings will get posted next week all at once. Some areas will be hit hard while others will actually see head count additions. All regions will be larger than before and expect PCP territories in many places to get bigger. Specialty territories will remain fairly similar in size because they will still call on high volume PCPs. All territories are going to get adjusted by size based on new indexing for higher return targets and eliminating low return targets. Just like JL said, there are like 10-12 different bag combinations and there will be 3-5 PCP reps in each territory. 90% of PCP reps will have a bag and/or manager change as well as could have a RD and ABD change so be prepared. Hope this helps some sleep a little better, if you are in good standing and have proven you can sell you are fine. For reps that have been on the gravy train and haven't pulled their weight I hope you enjoyed the free ride because your time has come. Even if Forest hadn't been bought we would have right-sized the salesforce and structured it based on VR modeling. For those that remain you will be better off in terms of structure and opportunity but will have to prove your worth or this process will play out again in the future. Good luck to all next week!

Watch. This post is spot on.Only thing is most territories don't change just yet- just managers and reps but not actual territories.

Thanks for this insight. Will specialty management change much? For example, if FSR1s are mostly safe, does that mean the FSR1 managers are as safe or should we expect changes there also?

Fools! Have you not seen the trend. 13% - then -13% next year and the beat goes on. 1/2 of you will be back at enterprise car rental or J.C. Penney's in 36 months. Sheep.
