Check out article in "Feedstuffs" Parties lining up to buy PAH
it costs pfizer a lot less money if you walk away, so think about the posts
It won't cost them anything...the new company foots the bill unless Pfizer insists on their employees being well compensated and why would they do that?? In the end the more employees get the less Pfizer gets and the more it costs the new owner.
Well, who do you think will buy this mess? Bayer, Novartis, Elaco?? Any thoughts or wishes
uh huh huh... you must be at least a vp with brain horsepower like that...your chin strap needs to be adjusted the helmet might be cutting the circulation off to your melon
Virbac will be in the mix. I dont think anyone will buy it all. I think it will be piece mail.
You people know zippo about finances spewing these companies like they have $10B laying arround waiting to buy PAH. C'mon you dumbasses.
Those of you who want to go - git going. We don't need you. The business is doing just fine, thank you, exceptional this year. And, they continue to hire people - that's the real sign. We had a new rep start in my area this week.
I for one am looking forward to getting rid of Pfizer and being separate. It will happen and we'll all be much better off.
Alright buddy...the business is doing fine but don't think for one second it means the new company will keep you. In the end they will get rid of you or the person next to you. And they continue to hire people because how will it look with a bunch of empty unmanaged territories out there?? Yeah... as a potential suitor I would love that. You're the dumbass if you think it's going to be business as usual. As soon as I find something else I am out of here. Good luck trying to find a job with a hundred other reps when the company gets sold.
r***** banter, my Sunday entertainment. Recruiters have low paying jobs to fill so make sure you quit one of the best paying animal health jobs as soon as possible. "the suitor"lol...doesn't give a rats ass about you, neither does pfizer, nor the next piece of shit corporation you go to work for. If you like your job continue, if you don't leave. Don't base your decision on a message board or some twenty something dipshit in the field. Thanks for the entertainment "buddy" IMHO you should not leave based on fear of a spin off or purchase. If you have one of the sociopath ASMs do this; open door, document, sue.

If it comes to me competing with the bum on my left or right - guess what - I'm going beat them because I can sell and I blow out my quota. So go ahead and worry that it's not business as usual. It is to me. For those that can sell, like me, I'm not worried at all. Best defense folks is a good offense.
If there is a choice, the weak will go. As for the company caring - is this really worth wasting time writing this? There is no caring and there is no charity. We're hired guns paid to do a job, so do it well, and you stand a reasonable chance of keeping your job.
Go ahead and read back through this forum of all the failed predictions and "hold on to your hats" comments, big layoffs coming. Never happened. In the years I've been here, the field force has had way more upsizing than the one downsizing back in CAD. Look at the number of reps here in 2001 versus 2011. People - let's go with facts and what's happened. I don't need the koolaid.
I hate the doomsdayers.
Don't kid yourself - performance is most of it. Yes there are other factors, but ultimately the company needs to retain those who can make money.
