Disputed rating?

I contested review - HR agreed, but went to internal investigation and got screwed!!

When are you people going to learn that management looks out for themselves. Go ahead and contest it as they will label you a trouble maker and your still gone. Those rankings are screwed up anyway. They can only give out so many 1's, 2's and 3's. You might deserve a 2 but they give you a 1 because all the 2's are gone and you didn't blow your FLM hard enough.
Think about it.

You get what you get!!! Go find another job your toast you are bound to get a bad rating at some point I don't care how good of a rep you are!!!! this co. screws you out of what you truly deserve

So my first review was completed by my FLM who was notified that he was laid off and was not offered another position, but he still needed to complete my review. When it was time for my actual review, my FLM was gone so anOther FLM conducted the face to face review. I was shocked when I read it.... There were so many in inconsistancies and spelling errors, it appeared that a drunk person wrote it! I was given a 1 and nothing could be done cuz FLM was already severed from Novartis. I was laid off the next go round. What co basically fires a Flm and then tells him to write reviews?

After reviewing your rating we regret to inform you that not only are you a 1, you are also a r*****. This is employment at will, now go waste your severance on an attorney who will accept your money and get no results. Jerkoffs.

Even employment at will employees have employee rights. By the way, I was given a 1 and only covered the new territory 5 months. So r*****, don't know shit! And yes, discrimination equals attorney!

You know what, your right. Go find an attorney and give him a $10,000 non-refunable retainer. Then file a lawsuit for discrimination. Don't forget to mention your well documented poor performance though... include your consistantly poor ratings and underperforming sales. Good luck jackass.

I would pay even more to the attorney, perhaps $20,000. That should put you in the best position to accomplish your mission.

I came across this one. It's funny and spot on!

You would not have been eligible for presidents club, having only been in the territory for 5 months yet you were elligible for a 1? The whole rating and review process has been a major problem, is a major problem, and will always be a major problem. I am currently working with a law firm regarding this. I have recordings of managers at reviews literally stating that they didn't have any 3's so in certain competancies they had to give more 2's, because if they gave a certain amount of 3's (even though they were deserved) they would have to give a 3. The problem is the review is not based on your actual performance, it is based on a budget, and they have to fit all of us into this budget. This law firm believes this is unethical, corrupt, and illegal. I have been in contact with managers, 1 RD, and about ten reps ready to spill the beans. This firm believes the implications on career, pay, etc...are of a big enough scope that it will most likely go to a class action type of suit. Document everything. And yes the law firm stated that the recordings would most likely not be usable, however they were able to get a clear understanding of the problem, and how our career development, and pay is effected. I suggest all who have dealt with problem seek legal advise and document everything.m more to come...

I was displaced in the last round of layoffs and later called back to work in another territory who historically has had bad performances for years. You can not turn a territory around in 5 months when the products and territory is new to you. So yes, I have been with he company for 23 years and watched it go down the drain. I also have former managers supporting me on this matter. You are correct in the fact it affects your pay raises and your bonuses. Can you let us in on who your attorney is that is handling this?
