Displaced Cephalon Reps

I think this thread should not be called Displaced Cephalon reps. It might be better called, "reps that Ventiv were able to get rid of without firing". How else do you explain these reps not getting calls to interview for open positions?

Your comment is extremely ignorant. Most well informed people are well aware of the current state of this industry and understand that openings have been very limited. It is an employers market and the few job openings that exist are very competitive and hard to get. You are obviously currently employed on a contract. Let us know how you feel about this when you soon face unemployment.

Call my ignorant, but you prove my point. The few openings that there are, the layed off Cephalon reps are not competitive enough to get these jobs.
Wow, you truly are one embarrassing illiterate CSO asshole. Your inability to form a single, spelled correctly sentence says volumes about why CSOs reps are such a motherfucking joke.

I took a non-contract job with another pharmaceutical company, and I am very happy so far. In such a competitive job market, networking is what helped me get a job and not waiting around for a recruiter to call me.

I guess that's a fair thought. So does anyone believe the managers create a ' do-not' re-hire list at the final evaluations? Or a would not he-hire as a recommendation for future opportunities? It's sickening to think I keep applying to jobs in my area that I won't even be looked at for. My last manager was horrible and lied to me numerous times and as he/she said to me ' I don't like independent thinkers'

If you don't have the EXACT experience the client wants you will not be considered.

I have to believe outgoing DMs (what do they have to lose) have informal conversations with recruiter about rating their district...whatever the case, there is no commitment to the current reps...

There is no commitment to current employees anymore. You are just like anyone else applying for position. Trust me, outgoing DMs have nothing to say about whom on their team should be re-hired, they dont get return calls from recruiters either.

Well, the torture is finally over for the Amrix team. I would like to thank the entire Cephalon team for their ardent support and Ventiv for their insight and total support of this bastard child of a contract. I would LIKE to, but just can't .....
