Disappointed

To the OP: Then the US military shows disrespect to everyone since all "new hires" go to basic training (for a lot longer than three weeks)??? New challenges come with responsibilities. Say what you want about Forest, but they are very open about the time required for training during the interview process. I wouldn't blame any family person for declining to move forward in the process if this requirement did not meet their personal needs. But don't rip the company for requiring a few weeks of training. SMH....

Waaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!! I was disrespected!!! Waaaah!!! Wait until you go away for a week for a meeting that could have been done in an hour at a holiday conference room.

Most of these responses are correct. However, Forest training has got to be one of the worst training regimes I have ever been through. Horrible hotel, sharing rooms with typically a 25 year old that has maybe 1 year of B2B sales and is hooking up with every guy in training and although the company is transparent about its requirements..............it is still a company for young professionals right out of college or slime balls that fit right in. Horrible place to work and they simply don't care about addressing the terrible culture.

I agree 3 weeks is ridiculous and a day could be done in an hour. company must not realize theres single moms and single dads raising kids and cant put responsiblities on others. can do in 5 days but not 21 days

could not agree more and whomever wrote about serving country is odd? This has nothing to do with signing up to serve country. This is a pharmaceutical sales job. Many experienced people wanting to work but can not leave home for 3 weeks. Just not cool to put responsiblities on someone else for three entire weeks. People learn most out in field with customers and not behind a table listening to the 12th speaker.

Three weeks of training of what? How to show up and throw up features and benefits , slide the doc a "white paper" do your message and then go screw around with your Pod Mate - well now that kind of training would be cool...as for the rest order taker training 101 such a joke

Wtf does the Military have to do with it ?

WOW, I am happy I read this, interviewed with a real asshole. Said training best in industry!!Well karma goes around for what Forest did to me in this whole process, wasted my time. Not nice people at all

Three weeks is nothing. If you're looking to work in pharma, Forest actually has one of the shortest training schedules. Ask someone who works for Merck how long their training was. Also, if you can't commit to three weeks of training, how can anyone possibly hope to trust that you'll be committed to working 9-5 every day out in the field yourself? The answer is...you can't be.

There is zero TRUST here. None from your first day until the end. That is simply the management model.

You guys actually have roommates during 3 weeks of training?? Who the fuck does that anymore?? Any pharma training could be done in 2 days, MAX! Roommates? Who would have believed it here in 2013!

9-5?? You're kidding right!??!

More like 9-2.. Max!! I'm out by 1 most of the days,
been doing it for 8 years. 9-5 lol

Thank your professors that taught you to complain about something you don't like..roommates, a boss that has high expectations, working in the rain.....etc.

Forest does not owe you a thing. This is what you need to understand. If you don't like your position then go find work elsewhere.

Until you understand this you will always be a loser.

There are many different corporate philosophies. It dictates every aspect of the culture from the top down. Without a doubt, Forest has one of the worst systems that exist. Everything from ethics, to the managers they promote, to how Reps. are required to chase signatures, to roommates at training, are affected.
The above post actually personifies pretty well as to how things work around here. This idiot feels entitled by his position to act like a asshole fucktard. But two things are correct: never, ever join this shitty company; if you are already here, get the hell out ASAP.
