He is disconnected, only “shows up” when he has to, and most importantly, is a misogynist who personally told my old manager he was going to promote a man over her because he thinks a mother should spend more time at home being a mom and wife than a professional. She wasn’t the only one he did this to, and she promptly resigned and went with a company who values her as an employee. Deryk should be replaced by a real leader.

I do have some questions for you. What would make you happy? Should we all quit at once? Should we storm ICPT headquarters like people did the capital building? Should the people you are singling out should they be shamed into resigning or should duck tape them? You are not much of a human being. Not the OP but it looks like there are 2 people, most likely the same 2 RBDs who have built their career here at Intercept by being “yes men” to Deryk, who got their boxers twisted for being called out by name. You can call it whatever you want, but it’s pathetic to defend a toxic culture, more pathetic to have been a part of creating it. Senior leadership is fractured, so you’ve taken the opportunity to make things worse for your teams by having us do ridiculous exercises and chase our tails instead of focus on the business at hand. You can’t just call someone a liar and think you’re exonerated or that anyone reading this thread will see the word “liar” and disregard the truthful things people have said. This site is full of disgruntled people posting, I’m not one of those employees (even though I hate working here and have no respect for my manager) but I don’t think it’s fair to scream liar and blame someone who obviously had a really bad experience with their RBD. A real leader would try try his hardest to to do better.

Yes don’t do it unless you need to feed your family! With one you will never have a voice his idea of team calls are listen because I know everything. If you have a good idea you will be lucky to get 2 words out before he interrupts you so he can go back to telling you about the world according to him. He has no self awareness.
