Delaware Warn Notice filed on 5/31/2013, 1200 job layoffs are possible.

In your opinion, does this mean that AZ can announce a 1200 person layoff at any time in 2013? I have not heard any rumors of layoffs, but this website from the State of Delaware certainly indicates the option is on the table.

We all know that layoffs are often announced just after Thanksgiving.....

Apparently you have to use the search feature. Just type in AstraZeneca to see the WARN date listed.

They already did it. All the clinical people who didn't get an offer to move to MD or chose not to accept it were let go.

Two listings. Saw one that said 450 and another that said 1200. As someone said, probably not the big one, however, checking the site now that people know it is there might give a heads up for any future layoff.

Add that to the next Culture Jam, how about being open and honest with us when these filings occur. Of course there are huge layoffs coming which is driving up the share price of our stock. Stock prices always rise on the promise of huge cost cutting measures. As always, we will be the last to know.
