Ask your manager why. Then decide if you can tolerate the answer. We’re supposed to have open communication, in the MOMent. If you don’t ask, and choose to stay anyway, you’re still choosing. Apathy is a choice. Action is also a choice.

Don’t misunderstand me; I agree that the field rides are completely out of control and do nothing to really help...and also...putting all the stress and angst here doesn’t really do anything to help the situation either.

Confront and try to hear their perspective. Maybe they’re being pressured too? Maybe you can arrive at a mutually beneficial agreement? Who knows? I had a manager once who just needed me to ask so we could agree to wink and nod most of the field coaching reports. It freed him up from stress and angst too!

The pressure comes from the ABD then to the RBD. They are all majorly freaking out and ultimately stressing out everyone around them. Failure. They are not professional and there is no open communication here. It isn't even worth discussing, as if it isn't obvious to everybody, Sage will be losing a lot of people soon. No professional employee needs to endure this type of treatment and they certainoy don't have to bargain for better treatment. More will be quitting this upcoming week. So the messages where idiots say "Just quit," is ludacris. Most here realize taking this job was an enormous mistake and they will not do it again. So no one that has any brain cell will take just any job. It has to be the right opportunity. Thankfully, good opportunities have begun to open up. This gig is over. It was a failure at the start and people are pissed they were lied to in the interviews. There will be another resignation this Tuesday.

Your just an ASS! We understand that results need to be made it’s just they have no patience and are getting in the way of it possibly happening. ABD’s riding in the field is old school big pharma. It’s enough of all the RBD’s with few reps that are with me every 3-4 weeks but all the one Sage folks they want with us all the time as well it just doesn’t help. They have no idea how accounts make money, no idea how to code it properly, it was supposed to be home infusion and now it’s 3 days in a hospital, Sage central is a joke with patients in que for over a month, and they demand results from us? How about you lay off our asses and start looking in the mirror and leave us alone. Everyone is kumbaya and except the sales

What the hell did you all think when she hired you. She’s been out the game managing people for over a decade so managing a payer market is her thing not managing people...she thinks being in your car is awesome and helpful and something we all just love so much...hey Deena the drug has been out 3 months. Relax, relax, relax. LOL You're such a dick. Who are you? You're not a KAM. You're not a TBS. The funny thing about Sage Therapeutics is upper management trolls this board like a hawk. They shouldn't be the least bit surprised everyone is quitting. They have no idea what they are doing. No Whining here outside of everyone realizes it is a shit show here and no one smart is going to stay here. Someone may have brought up DW, but the truth is they are all bad here. Salary, bonus, and great benefits? Where do you work? There is nothing great here and you are out of your mind. The bonus sucks. I made that my first years in the industry. Embarrassing. The bonus for a launch should be much, much larger. Health insurance sucks. 401K sucks. Since they don't have their act together, the payout a minimum should be 100%. All good companies have done that.

Says an RBD! It’s leadership and corporate to have clearly defined roles so that we can move the sales process forward with our accounts. If this is not done then we are wandering and trying to figure it out on the fly. I’ve been in sales 24+ years and I’ve never seen anything quite like this. This is what is called a dismal mess or failure on leaderships side. They should have waited for 217 prior to Zulresso because now it will be a bitch to recruit here...peace out

Wow your experience has been very different than mine. I absolutely love my team and my RBD and ABD are great. Every job has its challenges but in this case the challenges are worth it. Sorry you have not experienced Sage the same way I have.

By my count, atleast 6 people from the WEST and 3 from the SOUTH have left over the past year, so that will tell you where culture/leadership is poorest...

Crazy thing is my ABD hasn’t been out in the field at all because our teams are too small or she’s been out minimal. Tell her at upcoming meetings that it’s nauseating and see what she says
