Deena don’t you understand your RBD’s have 5-6 reps and on top of that corporate field rides, training field rides, marketing field rides, one Sage field rides, etc. let us do our job. And let my rbd do their jobs. It’s why you hired them. I had you in my car 2 days. Please don’t come back

It's not just Deena! This shitty company micromanages to death. The field rides are over the top and out of control. No wonder why everyone is quitting.

Does anyone else have their Area Business Director in the field all the time

She just feels like she has to justify her job until sales get going. All companies claim they won’t be big pharma but just like here at Sage they can’t get out of their own way.

Just let us be. I hate how marketing, training, and ABD’s say that they want to be a resource to us but have to justify their own jobs by getting in their cars with us...stay out! We are getting it going Deena and don’t need you. 2 days with you in our car is death and I didn’t enjoy it.

This is the way insecure managers work the job. The confident ones take confidence in their hiring choices and let the reps do what they were hired to do, without second guessing and overreaching to please those above them.

If boss’s only knew that the best in the industry provide you the necessary resources and let you do your job. Field rides provide us 0,0,0 value...one Sage people help but everyone else, including you Deena, don’t do a thing. Now I’ve had you once please don’t come back!

Isn't that the truth! I have a very insecure RBD and ABD! The decision to work here was the worst decision of my entire career. All throughout the interview process I was told time and time again how my manager was "hands off" and treated their team with trust and integrity. All lies. Also told that the culture here was amazing and they would never have big pharma mentality and as things needed to be changed, they didn't have the red tape like a big organization and they would make the changes. All lies. This is the smallest BIG PHARMA company that ever existed! If I didn't have my spouse and support of my family, I would go nuts during this horrible time. Some employees already quit, but many will follow soon. Not sure what they will do when they lose more than half their employees.

Then quit or shut that pie hole!

I agree! And to the jack ass that said ..."then quit," DON"T WORRY ABOUT IT DICK. AS SOON AS WE GET A DECENT JOB (YES, LIKE THE ONES WE LEFT FOR THIS SHIT SHOW) WE WILL QUIT! DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT!

No you are not Sage. You are the antithesis of what Sage is all about. Please take your show on the road ASAP. “We” don’t want you here. And think about an anger management course

Ask your manager why. Then decide if you can tolerate the answer. We’re supposed to have open communication, in the MOMent. If you don’t ask, and choose to stay anyway, you’re still choosing. Apathy is a choice. Action is also a choice.

Don’t misunderstand me; I agree that the field rides are completely out of control and do nothing to really help...and also...putting all the stress and angst here doesn’t really do anything to help the situation either.

Confront and try to hear their perspective. Maybe they’re being pressured too? Maybe you can arrive at a mutually beneficial agreement? Who knows? I had a manager once who just needed me to ask so we could agree to wink and nod most of the field coaching reports. It freed him up from stress and angst too!
