"Decided To Leave Amgen"

Rumor: Certain managers and directors were made to communicate their terminations as being their own decision and not Amgen's. Why would Amgen try to pull this lie? It only serves to further humiliate those forced out and makes Amgen look even worse for being so obviously dishonest.

Is this a cultural anomaly from having so many international decision-makers? Are they that stupid and uncaring, or do they just have that low of an opinion of our ability to recognize this BS? It's nauseating to think this is the new culture at Amgen.

It was probably learned from the practices of certain parties during WWII, where prisoners were forced to dig their own graves before being executed.

this has been a tried and true occurrence industry-wide. The infamous "has decided to leave to pursue other opportunities"
