Death of Biomet!

a couple people at work have said there was a free lunch on friday for people in the Zimmer building. Also a party for Zimmers HR? not sure what that is about. My neighbor heard about 'wearing blue for biomet this week' I haven't heard anything about when the merger will be complete, but it seems Zimmer is celebrating this friday, so it must be soon.
 
























The real sad part of this all is that the fat cat millionaires that are going to become multi millionaires especially on the Biomet side( thanks Dane)
The unknown for the people that have made this company what it is!!!!! Sales force ( oh yeah I don't work for Biomet) manufacturing and all the people that aren't top
Level management have sat around for months waiting for an announcement from
Our leaders!!!

You realize that many of the millionaires at Biomet are the guys out on the floor, right? Hell, the contractor I hired to work on my house told me his $50k of Biomet stocks turned into $1.3 million over night when they went private, and he never even worked at Biomet. I also have a colleague that had been working at Biomet for 9 months before they went private, and he got +$20k out of it. Biomet has taken care of the community, let alone their employees. Sure, the big wigs made out like bandits in this merger, but the only real people that have been "left out" are the ones that are newer to the company - and when it comes to them/us, what more should we realistically expect? If you want big rewards, join a start up.
