While we have not met I have heard from a few different people you are a pretty good guy. Will you please take care of all this next injection garbage they keep sending us. It is insulting, a waste of time, and a waste of resources. We could use more speaker programs not.........
1) A giant green umbrella
2) A pop up cooler that leaks
3) A seat organizer (wtf)
4) A clock that doesn't work, reads in C not F, and humidity is stuck at 100

Those newsletter are as lame as that lady Fermisco that promotes them, WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

Thanks for listening

I just love that we have a MUST-ATTEND web-ex next week with Keller and Thompson. Then they make it a point to say it is NOT about any alignments or merging with other BU's or layoffs, etc. It is however EXCITING news about the comp plan (which we already know about) and 2011 forecast! Really. So you want me to take an hour out of the field to listen in on this? Unbelievable!

Have you given any thought that there may be a positive change announcement to the comp plan and that leadership is trying to help turn us in a better direction?

oooohhhhhhhh you are so effective when you pretend to be in the field, maybe spending some time listening to your new boss and having a chance to ask him so questions might boost your moral and effectiveness. And since you are perfect think about other members of the field force that are in the glass is half full camp.

Dear Mr. Keller,

On no bonus Friday, think of all of us who will get no bonus and ask yourself, could I have done something differently to help those people too?

I would have taken less in S2 to get a bonus each quarter rather than go 6 months without one.

sell your salary in syringes or go home

If you sold 50 syringes in Q1, you received roughly 7500.00 If you sold 149 syringes by the end of Q2, you received zero bonus. If you sold one more syringe, for a total of 150, you received an additional 7500.00. I missed it by 5 syringes. How would you feel?

Let's see. I knew my goal for a whole 6 months. I knew the comp plan for at least 3 months and I knew my sales trends. I would have made sure it wasn't close. I would have, at a minimum, asked for 5 more syringes. If 149 syringes was your "sales goal" and you only came in at 144, you wouldn't have attained 100% sales goal and would have been paid a lot less than had you attained 100% goal. Any plan you come up short.

What a moron! We don't even get the sales numbers for weeks after, so you can't tell where you are. I placed in the top 35%, probably higher than you. I am almost 150% of target right now. It was a bad plan. When one syringe is the difference between zero dollars and 7500.00, there is a problem. So much so, that the plan, was in fact, changed.

you are a pretty crappy rep if you don't know how many syringes you have sold and you need to rely on the sales report....and guess what you didn't sell more than me. Did you complain when we were getting 30K a year for talking about PMO

Shut your hole. I feel for everyone who worked their @sses off and came short. I posted the detailed payout and the S1 comp calculations and it was removed from CP. On that same post, I advised people to stay home and not work for Q3! I was spot on when it came to my prediction that the crappy comp plan was not going to pay many people. I was one of the fortunate ones to have gotten a bonus but felt bad for others who did not.

All sales reports at every company lag. I've worked at 3 pharma companies. They all have a delay. But those reports told me how close I was sunning to goal. When it was close, I asked my customers for more than their normal trend. Not much more, but enough that I would have a comfortable cushion. Don't blame the plan. Plans change all the time. There's a reason they set the goal of 149 and drove you to get that goal. Because that is the number they needed to satisfy what was promised to Wall Street. It was a great plan if you made 149. Very lucrative. All plans rely on a good forecast, which wasn't the case the last semester. But it really is your fault, not the plan's fault if you missed by 5 syringes. C'mon, already. What an entitlement mentality you have. Just be accountable for your results. The plan is the plan. You know the plan, now hit the number. Who cares where you are now? Where was the 150% attainment last semester? You would have made a ton of money.

Probably with the no insurance coverage, ridiculous pre-auths, no EOBs, a huge price tag, and all the same reasons this summer that 70% of people didn't make the plan. Just admit it, it was a terrible plan and that's why people left and that's why they changed it.
