Speaking of me-too physicians, you'll have to excuse me, I have to go learn about fungus now.

Dear Boomer,
Thanks for your concern about my patients. It almost sounds genuine. Appreciate you trying to get to know me, but my friend network is filled up and with a busy practice I have little time for your shallow chit chat so you can boast to your peers and managers about the great relationship you have with me.
What my patients need is a good medicine at an affordable price. As you know, insurance companies force us to use generics first most of the time. For many patients this is a reasonable option and cost effective. When these don't work, I know about your option and other branded options. I went to school for 12 years, still attend conferences, read about new products and have colleagues and pharmacists to bounce things off of.
I know I have drug reps to talk to, but you are biased. I have never had a drug rep suggest that a competitor may be a better option for a specific patient. And last I heard, you have goals and quotas to meet for your drugs. Can you see my concern and viewpoint?
My patients can get your rebate coupons online or from a helpful pharmacist. So really don't need you to come in with those. Sample are always helpful, but our institution does not allow them. Lots of administrative red tape to keep track of samples, liability of expired products being handed out, many companies don't take back their expired samples, etc.
As far as the needs of my practice, would love some help there! Do you a degree in Business Administration? Have you run a small business? Dealt with insurance and reimbursement challenges? Had to hire and fire staff?
Gotta go, running 20 minutes behind and my next patient was suicidal last time they were in. Don't you have a virtual lunch to order for another clinic that blows smoke up your ass?
Respectfully yours,
No See MD
Does Numbnuts mention anything about T.V. commercials in his post?
