DBMs gone!

Has the exodus started?? Is this a sign of things to come?

Who would stay here? Wait till you go through the Mallinckrodt modules. I don't know of one person that I trust and talk to that isn't interviewing right now. If you aren't at least interviewing, you're not doing yourself justice. This is a BAD place to be. If you can deal with the BIG PHARMA mentality, then you are better off going to J&J, Pfizer, Amgen etc. their benefit packages have been developed for years and are highly competitive. You Stay here and you have a lousy and embarrassing benefit package with ALL the nightmare policies and headaches. Their benefits and travel allowances are below industry standard. We couldn't have asked for worse. It is a complete nightmare.

Holy Shit. I got a crap load of information today from my manager. They are going to make our lives a living hell. I am so out of here. You will see other surprising resignations very very soon.

Well, since there's so many people quitting, Mallinckrodt wanted to release some good news. I have great news for Y'all. I am out here in St. Louis and they are very generously allowing reps to expense meals up to $100 (not to exceed) for the whole day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) if you are traveling for business or at a meeting. But don't forget that needs to include tax and tip! Workday program is a blast too! The programs are so user friendly and won't take you out of the field at all. You'll all get a bit sentimental as their "Welcome to Mallinckrodt" modules will remind you of your days in your early 20's when you had your first primary care job. And let's not forget their incredibly generous internet payment of $27 a month. Maybe it's $27.03 or something like that. Oh, and be careful on those MasterCard expense charges. If there's a late payment, Mallinckrodt ain't responsible. You here us? Mally ain't responsible! You are responsible for them charges. We don't take AMEX here at Mally. One thing that you can say about Mallinckrodt is that we don't skimp on anything. No sir. They won't nickel and dime you on anything. This here may be a generic company, but they plan on serving us Nothing but the best. Concur is going to be a thing of the past. You're all going to get a much better program for them MasterCard charges too. We like to do our own things here at Mally and if we can find something cheaper, well we are going to do it! Wait to you get a gander at the future quarterly payouts. Wheeew Doggie. It's something to cry about.

If MM left, there is a big reason. RSL left for a big reason. Don't buy into the hype that this will be a good place to work for. Want proof? Just start reading their policies and procedures and look how horrible the benefits are. I tell you that I haven't had benefits this bad anywhere I have worked. Another poster was correct. What would you expect from a Generic based company that has no true hospital experience? Great benefit packages and employee incentives come from years and years of development. Mallinckrodt has none of those. They want to be the BIGGEST is their mantra. JD will eventually leave but carrying the new title of VP is great for his future. Again, I challenge anyone to list anything that makes working here great. Benefits? Communication? Culture? I can't think of one thing. Not one.
