I read what the person wrote. Where the hell did you get all these descriptors from? All it is implying is that The subject is stating something all people at Lilly know. Sales results are not important when it comes to promotion and longevity. It has all to do with dead end projects that will be scrapped a year from now in favor of something else just as useless. Is it a given now that anytime someone has an opinion it is subject to the trifecta of diversion: bigot,sexist, racist. Maybe the poster is those things but stop with attributing assumptions to people with no proof.

Very well put. However let’s remember what all people at Lilly are. Backstabbing opportunists who think a sales job is akin to some sort of high c level job. It is not. I remember sitting at meetings and being truly confused how certain people were doing their jobs. The ceo has an agenda he will enforce it. The recent high stock price is making them greedy. Get ready for more ECP hires at half the price of a seasoned rep. Good luck to those still there. I pray for you.
 






Like so many others at Lilly, DM is all image and no substance. Face it, Lilly’s culture encourages and promotes those who excel at everything but the core elements of ones primary job.
 






Dottie embodies most of what is wrong with current Lilly management. Her greatest focus is on self promotion and self achievement. Ultimately as a DM her attention should be sales results and then the development / promotion of her team. Unfortunately her wondering desire for countless mean nothing and non-implemented projects steals her limited concentration and motivation. It’s sad that a long tenured resume can lack such tangible successes. For those around Dottie caution there is a track record of being a manipulator and bully behind that fake smile and feathered locks.

This way why Dottie was a good manager when I had her a few years ago. She was never around for field rides, never engaged in district matters and more focused on self promoting “Dottie projects”. Total waste of money....
 






Totally agree. But what do managers really do? Especially in the OBU. My boss is completely useless. Nice person but brings nothing business wise to the table. I would love a manager that simply let me be and wasn’t in my ass about bullshit.
 






Old timer here, i’m surprised to here Dottie is still at Lilly never mind in a position of leadership and career development. Unfortunately true leadership needs to be out looking towards those they lead vs self promoting an inward focused on self. Just another example of Lilly’s downward spiral.
