Okay, so what momentous event is looming? For all of us paeans not in the loop, and that probably includes just about everyone, fill us in. Nothing has been said in my division about any big decisions that are forthcoming. The only thing we see is the continued loss of employees, due mainly to them finding other employment, and Corporate not filling the positions, which puts everyone in a huge bind(not that the Corporate dingleberries give a crap). Are we looking at another RIF? Heaven knows that we have lost so much business, in our division, it's a wonder we can keep the doors open. We are all guessing that they keep buying other labs to ease the worries for stockholders, when in truth they have no clue how to stop the hemorrhage of clients to Quest and CPA, among others. So what's the scoop?
 






All of us were sent a memo that told us to stay home Friday (like always) and they will call us and tell us what our future is. Hopefully they start at the top so we can all report to the Genzyme team, but we will lose some good friends too. Then we all go out to LT and act like one big happy family. Stay home until then. Spend time updating resume, finding recruiters, and and backing up our computer info to take to GenPath or Clarient while this piece of shat goes down the tubes. Well done RP, you did what we all knew you would do, fuc.. it up. Maybe your friends at Plus will hire you, well maybe not if they heard all the shi. you talked about them.
 






I am wondering if they are going to schedule calls or just randomly call us. I agree on the part about losing friends. I don't want to lose my job and I don't want to see others lose theirs.

what a dope you are. you are obviously not in one of the specialty divisions. its a restructure and everyone is not being fired. there will be some that are cut but there impact was i am sure minimal.

Does anybody else find it strange that we and Quest are both having RIFs and the management keeps telling the Wall Street that all is well and we will be bringing in more revenue and volume?
